Aela agreed..with all of them. It was time to fight, time to do something. The alcohol mixed with her still raging emotions over the fight that she had with Perith, had the teen on edge and ready to explode. She had come there to dance and party, to relieve the stress she was feeling. A fight wasn't what she had been looking for but it would have to do. Especially when someone was being bullied and needed her help.

The decision had been made, and as everyone stepped forward in support of the woman, Aela felt pride and justice in what they were about to do. She stared strangely at Vaas, as he decided to take the lead and head out first. She hadn't seen Vaas in a fight before, besides his fight with the tree, and the strange bird that they had encountered in the wilds. But this was a bit different, and he was mistaken if he thought that she would let me do this alone.

"Wait up Vaas."

Aela walked alone side Sira, then paused as Euthisa put her arms around them. It felt nice, if only because she was starting to drift to the side again. Her cheeks were still red, and the sudden excitement sent electric chills through her body. "This will be a night that dek-wad won't forget either." Aela frowned and clinched her fists again as they left the club. She wasn't sure of what they would face once they made it outside, but she didn't care...They would fight.

We had a plot?Well...We were just going to party I think, but since Neris is having trouble..I guess they fight...then party more? XD

Paces of the Night (Vaas, Aela)

Postby Neris on September 20th, 2012, 3:21 pm

There were two battles tonight, and Neris just lost this one. All she had hoped for was to slip away quietly and avoid Spear, but running into this group made it impossible. They were willing to go out of their way--they certainly were much older than she--to make sure she made it out safely. Neris could tell Vaas and Alea were ready to take on an army, and Sira was just the same. She could also understand Euthisas shyness from confrontation, Neris also felt the same.

In the end, the bookworm Inarta sighed and stood tall, "They might still be in the club looking for me, Spears not hard to find. He has bright red hair and tends to have a lot of spikes to it. I can point him out if I see him."

Staying close to Euthisa, she began to follow the rest of the group, "I'm Neris by the way, Neris Shycal." She had forgotten that she hadn't introduced herself yet.

Back in the bustle of people and music, Neris scanned the floor once, then hoisted herself up on a chair to gain a better view. Her eyes stopped to a set of red spikes near the bar, then two other boys she recognized, " There they are, by the bar!" She shouted to the group.

Paces of the Night (Vaas, Aela)

Postby Euthisa on October 30th, 2012, 7:25 pm

Euthisa's eyes followed Neris' directions, spotting the boys she'd mentioned near the bar. Vaas had disappeared in the crowd, probably heading outside to search for the boys. At Neris' shouts, the bully group ducked outside to try and escape trouble. Euthisa and the girls followed suit, but once outside, they couldn't find Vaas or the other boys anywhere. An unsettling feeling sprang in the pit of Euthisa's stomach, and there was no denying she wasn't comfortable with this situation. She had a really bad feeling about all of this, and that feeling scared her. She didn't want to be there or be part of it. But she didn't want to abandon Neris either when she'd been so eager to help. She had to think of something, and soon.

The girls stood outside the club, frantically looking for any sign of the boys or Vaas, but none was to be found. No one moved and each of them were as silent as the night was. It was still outside, too still for how Wind Reach usually was, and this factor only added to the creepiness of the situation. "I don't see any of them anywhere. Maybe we should split up to look for them. Aela and Sira, seems to me like you two are the only ones capable in a situation like this. Maybe one of you can go with me and check one direction, and the other stay with Neris to look the other way and see if we can find them?"

Paces of the Night (Vaas, Aela)

Sira was still mostly content to just stand back and let the others take the lead, curious to see what all would happen. In truth, she wasn’t the best at hand to hand combat. Her skills lied with the bow and arrow, or her talon sword. Unarmed she was most deadly in her wind eagle form, but she had no desire to reveal just who she was at that exact moment. Sira was trying to enjoy a night free of the status of her title as a wind eagle and endal. She was probably the only one with any real combat experience, however, and so when Euthisa suggested that they should split up Sira decided it would probably be a good idea if she went stayed behind to protect Neris while Aela and Euthisa went in search of the bullies. Neris was the original target, so chances were that they would target her again. If they did, Sira wanted to be there to protect Neris. Somehow she got the feeling that the girl didn’t actually want to confront the bullies, though Sira had every intention of seeking them out herself later on if they didn’t find them that night. In times like the ones they were facing, with Ivak free and emotions running higher than ever, the people of Wind Reach needed to work together. They didn’t need to go around bullying each other and causing trouble.

”I’ll stay with Neris, if that’s alright. I’ve been in tough situations before, and if the bullies come after her again I can try to fend them off. They might not even attack you guys, since there are two of you, but if you see them then shout for me. I’ll do the same if they come after us.”

Assuming that nobody objected, Sira would stay behind with Neris while the other girls went in search of the bullies. Sira hoped that they wouldn’t get into too much trouble out there, but if they did, Sira would come running as quickly as possible. After Aela and Euthisa had gone, Sira turned to Neris and put a hand on her shoulder.

”Don’t worry, you’ll be safe with me. I’m an Endal, it’s my job to protect you. The others don’t know.. I’m trying to keep it a secret for tonight. People treat you differently when they know you’re an endal, and I don’t want them to treat me differently. Our little secret, alright?”

Of course Sira was a lot more than just an Endal, but she didn’t feel the need to share her other secret with Neris just then. It was bad enough she had blown her cover as an endal, but she wanted the girl to feel safe. If she mentioned that she was also the famous wind eagle kelvic, she doubted Neris could keep the secret for long. Even if she didn’t blurt it out, the way people tended to treat her when they knew the truth would arouse enough suspicion for Aela and Euthisa to start asking questions. Sira still had high hopes for the night, there was still much fun to be had. Especially if she could convince Aela that she was into girls and bring her home for the night. But those thoughts were for another time, right now Sira assumed the position of a casual loiterer, leaning against the wall near the entrance to the club and watching the people who came in and out. She didn’t want to be overtly obvious that she was watching for the bullies, because if they were around, she wanted the chance to drive them off. And if they weren’t, well.. it was much easier to lean casually against the wall than to stand around in the hallway all nervous and obviously on the lookout for trouble.

A very interesting thread that ended at a point of tension! I'm sad I couldn't get to see the outcome of the fight with Spear. If Neris returns, she can PM me and I'll give her her experience and lores. Just a note, please be careful about dictating each other's actions and godmodding. There were a few instances of pulling people places and saying people did things without checking if they actually acquiesed to being moved around like that. Valo, also, please watch your tenses! A very enjoyable thread with a lovely friendship. Please PM me if you have any questions or concerns.
