Ardea's unwavering gaze moved smoothly over each of the people at the table in front of her, determining each of their dispositions and deciding whether or not they might be a potential threat. There was something about the Myrian that unnerved her slightly, but it kept her on edge and, for that, the kelvic was grateful. Ardea gave a single polite nod in the Isur's direction as Vanari introduced him. Suddenly, a scream pierced the air, immediately sending adrenaline pumping through her veins as her gaze whipped around, searching for the source of the noise. But Vanari was already gone, pursuing whomever it was that had kidnapped her small friend.
Ardea sprinted after her with surprising speed for her slim frame, all but ready to shift and chase down the offender. Whomever it has been, however, was long gone and the kelvic retreated back inside alongside the Vantha. She listened in silence as the others spoke.
"I will accompany you. Though, like your friend here-" she motioned smoothly towards Jervis, "I have never heard of Pavi Lake before. I can, however, offer you some form of protection." The kelvic spoke carefully, as to not flash her abnormally large canines. Such a statement may have sounded odd to the others, given that, in her human form, she did not look like she held much strength behind her frame. However, Ardea knew that Vanari would understand and if she could help her most valued friend in any way, then she would do so in a heartbeat.
