Standing about, she tried not to stare at Armeshi, her grey armor alien to Maya as she felt her own clothes must feel to her. She could feel herself being watched and turned to this newly met stranger.
"Your red hair.. your a maker are you not? If so, I have some work for you if your interested.Don't worry, I just need someoone to craft me about four-hundred glass bolt tips. They'll each be a uniform five inches long, and made of solid glass. How much would you charge for such an order?"
Slightly offended, she begins to say, "Now wait a-," but she lets the request finish before she responds again. "Err... Yes, I do do a bit of glassblowing, but... Well, I haven't quite gotten a forge yet. That's actually what me and Kane were about to do, he was taking me to the local glass shop to see if I might be hired... About the order, it is rather large, and it would take some time... And the cost..." Maya's voice trails off as she does some mental mathematics. The average bolt sold 10 for 1 GM. If it were made of glass, it would easily double the cost... Maybe triple, even... Four hundred divided by ten would be... fourty, times two is 80... add on some tax (At this, she silently chuckled, her face deep in concentration, not betraying her laughter) and it comes to... "One-hundred Twenty Gold Miza." She finally said, deciding that as a fair price. 400 was a rather large order, after all, and she needed compensation for the time needed to complete it. "That is, if I get hired and can use the forge..." No doubt she would have to give the owner of Inner Fire a percentage... leaving her with what, 80, 100 Gold Mizas? A fair price indeed, she should charge double. And what, get killed and get the money stolen as soon as you give them to her? A shady character, this one has the looks of a murderer. No doubt she would have no trouble feeding you to a pack of wild dogs...
"Yes, One-hundred Twenty Gold Miza. A fairer price than any you would find in the stalls. If you don't mind me asking, why do you need glass bolts?" Maya smiled, hoping it wasn't something she would rather not have known. She decided to ignore Kane's question, interested now in this stranger and her blunt, aggressive nature.
