There was a pause as they walked, Kane taking note of the lack of conversation for a few moments, the two young women probably thinking something of the other... odd these two. Though soon came a low whisper from Armesi, "She reeks of fear.. do I come across as dangerous? I assure you I am most definitely not..." Well, Kane managed to barricade the thoughts inside of his mind, not allowing them to emerge from beyond his lips, you do look quite imposing, and you do strike me as dangerous... He only replied, his whisper only a tad louder than her own,
"We'll talk at the glassworks." Having turned his head only the slightest amount to speak to Armesi, he turned back, offering a quick glance at Maya before turning back to the path ahead, gesturing for the small party to take a intersecting street, opting for a right turn which would lead almost directly to both the glass and the ironworks, give or take a couple of blocks distance. In an answer to his question Armesi spoke again, Kane listening for anything he might know of,
"Well... I'm here to learn what I can of my skills, and move on to the darker reaches of Mizahar. You know, the forbidden lands of blood-money, necromancy, and war. I figure if I learn all that I can in the lands of peace first, I'll be able to defend myself while hunting the kings that rule the lands of evil."
"Those are rough places," Kane responded, sighing as he paused, "I don't know if one like yourself would want to go there, the wilderness is already a challenge enough..." ... that and someone like yourself wouldn't be too welcome in Sunberth... or might you? "Still, perhaps our goals aren't too different. I came to Syliras hoping to gain entry to the Order, and I may yet still."
