Just a little heads up:

So, you might have noticed I've become a little bit slower in regards to posting. Like a lot of our little WR group here, life is starting to get to me. Exams are closing in and as a result I'm actually studying when I get back home. Because of that, I only have time to write one reply (maybe two) each day (if I'm not too tired. During weekends I should have more time though). So, yeah, I'll be giving priority to modded threads, and threads with more than one other player; y'know, to keep the ball rolling.

I'm confused. the player guide says: Other Races Besides Inarta: To start out in Wind Reach as something other than Inarta, you need to have a really good backstory for being there including how you got there and why you sought Wind Reach out specifically. PM this to a DS for permission. Odds are the DS will ask you a few questions such as 'How do you feel about the Inarta? How do they treat you in return..." that sort of thing. So, the more complete of a description or explanation of why you are in Wind Reach and how you deal with it you submit, the easier permission will be granted. Wind Reach is open to just about any race, even Zith, but those races must pull their weight.

But it also says male Symenestra are killed on sight. So if one was seeking refuge and was willing to work he's still be killed? I know someone who wants to come here, but wants to play a Symenestra. Can he and how?

Sorry for leaving you guys hanging the last couple of weeks. Been having a rough time of it, and been kinda sick (one of the many fun side effects of what's wrong with me is that my body sometimes decides it wants a swimming pool, and so starts filling my lungs with fluid - fun times!). If it weren't for the fact that Khara and I pre-wrote some threads offline earlier in the season, I probably wouldn't have been posting anything at all... my muse and mojo have been on the fritz.

I'm pretty sure I'm caught up(ish) with everything now, though. If there's a thread still waiting on me to post next, give me a poke in the ribs and I'll get it sorted out.

Dru - Might want to shoot V a PM to make sure he sees this? That sounds like a pretty important question. Certainly wouldn't want to be all "Yes, come play in Wind Reach!" if it would only result in that person ending up dead!

Those rules were made during the Harrier's period of being DS. She changed a lot since Phoenix was in charge of Wind Reach. Honestly, I have been here in WR since spring of 512AV, and I know WR was more accepting of different races except full blooded ZIth. However, they were allowed in with DS permission.
