. Hello Sunberth! If you have checked out the Seasonal Calendar for this Winter, you'll notice that I've marked three different dates (so far) with either "Quest" or "Mini-Quest". These events are unique opportunities for you, the players in the city, to join in and perform a number of tasks or just follow on a brief adventure to reap rewards and experience for your characters. The Quest on the 24th will carry the most significant reward since it's going to be more dangerous and thorough than the other two, but the two Mini-Quests on the 40th and 88th will both offer opportunity to collect some experience, lores and, potentially, money! To join these quests, it's "first come, first serve". Just reply here in this topic. You can sign up for more than one, but if there's interest even after the Quests are full, you may be asked to surrender one or more of your spots to someone else. Quest: Jebediah's In Trouble (Winter 24th) Threat Level: Moderate/High Theme: Exploration, Adventure Opportunities: Spiritism, Treasure Jebediah is having some form of trouble back in the Dust Bed and is asking for help. Knowing his chosen profession and the nature of the place he lives in, it likely has to do with Ghosts and tombs. He seems desperate enough, though, considering his offer of a reward. Mini-Quest: We Need Lumber (Winter 40th) Threat Level: Low Theme: Collecting Supplies, Encountering Wildlife Opportunities: Wilderness-Related Experience, Cash Reward Fall's flood and the harsh incoming Winter is leaving an increased number of people in the city without a home. Some generous individuals have come together in order to build a center--a refuge--in Sunberth's old ruins. They need all the help they can get to collect materials for this building effort and have been prepared to pay anyone lending them a hand. Signed up: [4/5] Mini-Quest: Petricious' Scavenger Hunt (Winter 88th) Threat Level: Low/Moderate Theme: Collecting Corpses, Street Violence (Probable) Opportunities: Combat, Cash Reward With the recent reopening of his clinic, Petricious is looking to expand his business and has asked the public to bring him fresh bodies (or bodyparts). He mentions that there are plenty to be plucked from underneath the snow and the streets are packed with them; like fruits ripe for the taking. The fresher the body, the better he's willing to pay you! Signed up: [5/5] FULL! . |
