OocSorry I took so long, and I am officially allowing Sayana to lift me up and use me as her puppet. “A dancing puppet? whats a pu..” But Nivel was picked up off the back of her mount before she could finish her question, much to the confusion of Patcha who let out a bark in opposition. “It’s okay patcha” Nivel replied back to her worried mount as Sayana poked and prodded her clay form in curiosity. It seemed to happen so often when the pycon was picked up that it might as well be a form of greeting. “That tickles” Nivel giggled at her continued examination.
The Mage Squire was placed on a table near the stage where she could see the wonderful spectacle soon to come right in front of her line of sight. Sayana suggested helping Nivel spin, and hovered a finger overtop of her to aid her in doing so. The squire quickly complied with out a moments hesitation and pressed her arm against the outstretched appendage. Nivel pointed her feet like the bottom of a spinning top and quickly kicked her one foot to start the spinning process. As she spun, She used her free leg to attempt some kind of dance like moment. Flexablity was not an issue for her, being graceful, having rhythm and moving with general smoothness were issues. Her tails were probably the only area she was able to move with any semblance of fluidity, since they were always in a constant state of undulating. They moved about Nivels body more vibrantly as she spun as if they were trying to put everyone around them into a hypnotic trance. She tried to lift her leg up and preform some stylistic kicks as she spun but she only did it once and it almost threw her off balance.
Nivel was really getting into the spinning but was suddenly taken back into Sayana’s palm. The dizziness of the twirling hit her nexus soon after and the room began to spiral around her for a moment. “Oh uh, yes lets go see her” Nivel mumbled a bit in confusion as she tried to snap herself out of her disorientation. “Sorry I’m a bit dizzy now” Nivel explained with a chuckle so that the dancer didn’t assume she was hesitant about seeing Autumn for any reason.
Riding on the dancers head was quite and experience, far more interesting than hitching a ride on their shoulder. Nivel felt like this must be how it feels to be a tall folk so high in the sky gazing down at all the smaller creatures under foot.“oh yes this is wonderful” Nivel said with Glee. Nivel was thankful for the added support of the Sayana’s spare arms, she would hate to have to hold on to the woman's hair for support.
As they approached Autumn, It seemed like there was some unsavoury patrons that began harassing the young musician. Sayana was quick to lash back with her sharp tongue, they retaliated but she speared them swiftly and effectively with her words. Nivel still wouldn’t let this type of rudeness stand and she joined the fight soon after. “How dare you say such awful things to my friends!” Nivel piped up from on top of Sayana’s head. “I am Nivel, Squire to The Masked Mage Knight Sera Grey Baxter of the Order and I demand you apologize this very instance or face my wrath!”Nivel’s already low voice became deeper and more menacing and her ears and tails shot out like bladed weapons as she made her demands. The rude men seemed more shocked and confused than really shaken at Nivel's threats but on the bright side they were no longer harassing anyone.

OOC Note to GraderSince Autumn has not been active for the last month (or more) Nivel and I have decided to continue the thread regardless. As such, we’ll simply assume that Autumn plays the role of a typical musician playing at the tavern.
Sayana was quite impressed with how fast the little clay lady could spin on the table even with her assisting finger. She managed to catch a glimpse of Nivel’s pointed toe and was surprised with how pointed it actually was. Although, perhaps it was just the fast spinning that blurred the shape. The Eypharian was quite delighted with the pycon’s exuberance and was more than happy to carry the creature upon her head.
After Sayana gave a quick scolding to the customers who had been harassing Autumn, Nivel put in her own few words. The dancer had to fight to keep a grin from appearing on her face. She was such a little creature yet she seemed so sure of herself and her ability to produce an intimidating sense of “wrath”. Sayana adjusted her high hands a little as the squire shot out her tails like blades and it seemed that for the most part the rude patrons were stunned into silence and confusion, and thus did not attempt to make a counter-remark. Just as well.
It looked like Autumn was just about ready to perform. “Hey Autumn, you mind doing the first song? I want to try out a few things with Nivel and then we can both join you on stage for the next one.” Sayana called to her friend. As the musician started up the first song, Sayana tried to think of ideas of how to incorporate her new friend into her dance. Despite Nivel’s small appearance, the squire was heavy. Almost like a rock or a hunk of metal resting on her head. And yet when she had picked the squire up, Nivel had also felt flexible and almost moldable if given the opportunity.
“Nivel? How are you at flying?” Sayana asked before promptly taking the clay creature in her high hands and bending down to toss Nivel straight up into the air using both her hands. The Eypharian watched the squire with a grin while she was in the air and then made sure to brace herself as she caught the pycon in her low hands.
“Are you good at balancing? What if you were to run or dance along my body while I moved?” The dancer started the pycon off with a flat platform which was the back of her left low hand. Raising up her arm, it too became relatively flat and easily walkable. She outstretched several other arms and made an obvious bridge to her right side. With a grin she bent down slightly with a flat back and hoped that the squire would notice the potential path that she had formed. It wasn’t easy keeping her various arms perfectly flat for the little dancer but she had long practiced isolating various body parts so it wasn’t impossible either.
Sayana glanced in the direction of Autumn who had begun playing and then turned her attention back to Nivel. The Eypharian briefly held up her thigh as another ledge for Nivel, and after a few ticks of balancing on one leg she gave an upwards nudge with her thigh before placing her foot back down. “Now when we go up on stage to perform, I want you to step in time with the beat as much as you can,” Sayana explained. To emphasize where the beat was, she began clapping softly with her high hands to the music that Autumn was playing. “It helps me better prepare for where you are and how fast you’re moving. And if it’s too slow, then make your steps twice as fast. Plus, when we’re both in sync then it’s easier to time your flips.”
OOCFeel free to assume the locations of some of Sayana’s arms if you’re writing things in detail. Simply, it would be too much for me to write out all of them in every post. |

With the uncouth men having been rendered silent, Autumn was free to play her music without interruption. Nivel assumed Sayana was going to go to the stage to start her performance, but instead she asked the musician to play the first song without her. The Pycon ears fluttered again as the Dancer said she wanted to preform more dance exercises with her.
Sayana asked Nivel if she knew how to fly but before the mage squire could answer she was thrown up into the air. It was certainly a shock at first since it was so unexpected but quickly gave her the beloved tingles in her nexus that made her giggle out loud. From her new vantage point Nivel could see the tops of everyones heads instead of the soles of their feet, which made her feel like the mighty queen of Mizahar.
Not wanting to waste a perfect opportunity to practice her mid air flips, she thrusted her legs up at the right moment to flip herself over. It wasn’t a very fluid execution and wouldn’t have worked as well in a performance which normally wouldn’t have mattered in the slightest but it did now. Nivel envisioned herself dancing along along the battle field astonishing her enemies with her poise and grace before knocking them out cold with a swift and mighty strike of her tiny fists. Who says a knight can’t be a great dancer and also be a great fighter.
When Nivel landed safety in the lower arms of Sayana, the dancer asked the pycon if she was good at balancing and if she would like to dance along her body. Nivel hesitated a moment expecting sayana to toss her about or some other turbulent action. When Nivel felt it was safe to speak she bounced her head up and down enthusiastically “I would love to!” Nivel cheered “I’ve done a bit of balancing in my time.”
Nivel was no stranger to balancing along various surfaces, nothing as hard as walking along a rope or twig but walking along the surfaces of a tall folk shouldn’t be too difficult for her. A bridge of arms formed right in front of her and it became clear what she needed to do. Not content on just walking along normally the pycon laid on her belly and pulled her legs up until they touched her head and then pushed herself into a tumble with her arms, folding her cumbersome tails and ears into the ball she had made herself into. She rolled like this across the length of the arm bridge until the end where she simply stopped pushing and layed herself out like a unraveled rug.
Sayana did her own little exercise of balance during which her thigh was open as a possible ledge for Nivel to climb too. Nivel pulled her self up to a standing position and walked onto the thigh while trying to rock herself back and forth with the rhythm Autumn was playing. Sayanas nudge was enough to push Nivel back into the safety of the tall folks many arms.
“okay I can do that” Nivel replied to Sayana’s instructions while trying not to sound hesitant. The tiny creature was pretty sure she could do it but was still afraid of disrupting an otherwise good performance. She pushed these negative thoughts away for the most part but they were still a bit present.

Sayana grinned at Nivel’s flip in mid-air. The little creature had skill. She almost forgot to catch the pycon in time due to the marvelous display. However, when Sayana suggested Nivel dance across her arms, the creature did something Sayana certainly did not expect. Forming into practically a ball she rolled across the Eypharian’s arms. Afraid that the pycon might fall, there were a couple times that Sayana tried to adjust the slope of her arms, but for the most part the little pycon had things under control.
“Brilliant,” Sayana exclaimed brightly as the pycon was once more back on her arms. “Now there are a couple more things I want to mention before we go on stage.” The Eypharian placed the pycon back on the table so she’d be able to watch as the dancer demonstrated. “As a new dancer, spins always look good. You can do them on the spot or in a line.” Sayana first did a quick spin by crossing one leg over the other and unwinding by turning on the spot. She then did a series of three spins in a line, using her arms to give her the initial momentum. “And if you get dizzy just spin the other way,” she added as an afterthought. “Also, you can make up your own footwork or do little jumps. But the audience might not see you so well since you’re so little. So instead you can use your arms, or maybe even your ears and tails.” Sayana fanned out her own arms and stretched them up, then side to side, and then moved them in circular patterns. “You can draw a lot of attention without actually doing very much.” As if to confirm her point there were several people at the tavern who looked towards the Eypharian wondering what she was doing.
The Eypharian picked up Nivel again as the song was coming to a close and gave one last bit of guidance. “Just three things to remember: smile or at least look happy, try to dance with the music, and don’t stop moving unless it’s for the pose at the end.”
With a grin Sayana called over to Autumn, “Got another fun upbeat one?” She got onto the dais with Nivel still in her hands. To the audience she announced, “Tonight we have a guest performer to start things off. Welcome Nivel to the stage!” Sayana held the pycon up in her mid hands and gave a long shake of her tambourine to induce some applause. “We’ll be doing some acrobatic country dancing to the wonderful tunes of Autumn Wilde.”
With the introduction done, Autumn struck some upbeat chords on her gea-tar and Sayana began hitting tambourine to the beat with her high hands. The Eypharian was beaming and figured she’s start things off with a bang. “Here we go,” she spoke softly to the pycon. The dancer tossed Nivel high into the air in three successive throws so that the pycon might begin the show with her acrobatic prowess. |

By the way Sayana was revealing the pearly white stones in her mouth, Nivel could tell she was doing a good job. The complement that came soon after was just the icing on the cake. Nivel’s face stayed relatively emotionless as always but her ears were perpetually fluting about from the recognition her acrobatic skills received from Sayana.
The Dancer placed Nivel back on the table and went into more instruction. Nivel listened intently as her instructor explained, keeping as focused as possible on what was expected of her. In doing so she stopped moving and could easily be mistaken for an odd toy or figurine. “Spins are always good, Got it” Nivel repeated the advice so it would stay ingrained in her memory. Nivel played close attention to the method in which the dancer moved and placed her ligaments. It seemed simple enough that she could replicated it, but she doubted that she could do it as effortlessly and smooth as Sayana. Watching the multi-armed performer spin in a line was indisputably memorizing and definitely made Nivel eager to try.
“Spin the other way to stop dizziness, good to know” The advice seemed couter intuitive to Nivel but she wasn’t going to question Sayana in the art of dance, Especially after seeing how skilled she was.
Sayana had a very good point about Nivel’s size, she would need to compensate for her small stature if she was to leave a lasting effect on her audience. Nivel was already feeling tired from her earlier flux training but the mage was sure she could pull through it and stretch her limbs out long enough to increase her size. With her elongated limbs waving about it would surely gain her and by extension her new friend Sayana some extra attention.
“Look happy” Nivel nodded “Dance with the music” Nivel Nodded again “-And never stop moving..okay triple dipple got it” With that said Sayana lifted Nivel again and headed to the stage where the magic would begin.
Sayana requested a happy tune from Autumn before introducing Nivel to the crowd with gusto. “Pleased to be here!” Nivel hollered cheerfully as she stretched her arms out and waved them about frantically to get attention.
When the Music started, Nivel began to clap her tails together with the beat that Sayana was making with her tambourine, While her elongated arms continued to wave back in forth with the general feel of the music Autumn was playing. Nivel knew it was going to happen but still wasn’t prepared to be thrown in the air again. She managed to pull it to gather and do yet another ariel flip. It was so awkward it could have easily been seen as an unintentional part of Sayana’s throwing. Nivel was glad when she was thrown yet again because she wanted to try some midair spinning. While in the air she did what she would normally do to do a flip but thrust her arms to one side to force her into a rotation. She didn’t do it in time but was at least able to perform a decent looking flip. A third opportunity came for Nivel, and by ether a total fluke or miracle her timing was flawless. She tightened her body together to reduce the friction and was able to get a fairly decent spin out before falling back into Sayana’s capable hands.

Sayana grinned when the little pycon called out that she was pleased to be here. Even if Nivel hadn’t danced before she seemed like a performer at heart. The Eypharian wondered if she had done some sort of acrobatics on stage, but now was not the time to ask. As Nivel began clapping her tails together in time with the music, Sayana was rather proud at how quickly the pycon had caught on, and after three high tosses the little performer nailed the last one with a beautiful flip.
After the flips, Sayana caught the pycon in her mid hands and placed Nivel on her head. “Hold tight and no big moves. Time for me to get some attention.” Sayana spoke quietly while she steadied the pycon and then let go of her to balance on her own. The Eypharian beamed at the audience and did a set of three spins traveling to the right followed by a large circle of her hips and body. She repeated it to the left all the while trying to keep her head very level and her mid arms close enough should she feel the pycon slipping. The dancer renewed her steady tambourine beats with vigor and began prancing about the dais in a circle. Every third step she did a quick spin on the spot and even her shoulders had a light bouncing to them that matched the lively music that Autumn played.
The chorus hit and Sayana suddenly had a great idea. She quickly swapped the tambourine to one of her low hands and with a mid hand she grasped Nivel gently but firmly by the legs. “Here we go!” Sayana spoke with a soft but animated voice. The dancer brought the pycon down and around in a huge vertical circle and for a moment she was afraid the clay wouldn’t hold up against the pulling force being applied. But it seemed like the pycon was made of stronger stuff than that and the wing-like ears and tails curved the pycon through the air in interesting ways. Reaching the top of the circle, Sayana switched hands and swung Nivel in another big circle through the air. As the music changed, the dancer held onto Nivel with two hands and they both spun about until Sayana slowly stopped and simply switched hands whenever Nivel went behind her back. Even though the Eypharian doubted Nivel could fly with her wings, she was surprised just how well they sliced through the air and provided a sense of lifting. After few more patterns of swinging her through the air, Sayana finally stopped and placed the pycon back on her head.
“Now it’s your turn to shine. Just try to stay on my head or my arms.” Sayana instructed quietly. She gave a shake of her tambourine to emphasize that something new was happening and gestured to Nivel upon her head using her high hands. She then spread her mid and high arms out at varying levels and tapped out the beat on the tambourine. The dancer was rather still, so as not to draw attention to herself and only to the pycon, but she couldn’t help but pop her hips up and down in time to the music. |

nodded her head at Sayana’s orders, Being a squire the pycon was pretty used to following orders. Especially when all they required her to do was hang on and nothing else. Before Sayana started her next move Nivel Swiftly stretched out her legs and tails to rest just above Sayans ears and flattened them out into a head piece for Sayana. To complete the look of a costume piece she strained to flatten herself out completely except for her bat ears and the slight bulge left from her spherical nexus. It was definitely a hard task keeping herself clenched in this unnatural form but it did a good job of allowing Nivel to steady herself while drawing the attention towards the new focus of the performance, Sayana.
Nivel was spun around and around as Sayana did her dynamic spinning, When the multi armed dancer stopped to try different moves Nivel felt a bit nauseous but quickly rotated her nexus inside of her body to counter act the spinning. She still felt awful from the strain and the mild affects of over giving but knew she only had to stay as a decretive hairband for a little longer.
Through the visual receptors that were now at the tips of Nivels wings, she was able to study Sayanas other moves more closely. The squire tried to match the rhythm made by the dancers hip movements and tambourine shakes by wiggling her ears but with all that she was doing the only movement she could manage was barley noticeable. She had to quickly stop because focusing on everything she was doing was incredibly stressful, far too stressful for her to keep up.
As soon as Sayana’s hands reached upward Nivel sprang back to her natural form and her aching legs were taken ahold of. It was a breath of fresh air to be out of that uncomfortable position she was holding herself into. Sayana sprung Nivel around in the air and the gentle breeze and sensation from being swung around more than made up for the ache creeping through her entire body. It helped her keep on with the performance and refrain from collapsing.
When the swinging was over it was time for Nivel to shine again, and even if she felt like a shattered chunk of coal she would have to be as bright as syna. Nivel took a deep breath and exhaled from a hole in her chest. She forced herself through the pain and began to twirl like Sayana had shown her by crossing one leg over the other and unwinding. She wiggled her ears and swayed her arms back and forth to the feeling of the music. The pycon tried to focus on the melody it’s self and let it tell her what she should do next. This method resulted in very organic and fluid movements as her limbs slithered about like agitated snakes or wriggling worms. She knew when this was over she would need a very long rest, that probably lasted a couple days but at least now she had accomplished her goal.

Sayana’s facial expression turned to one of confusion as she felt Nivel’s body cup her head like a head piece or crown. Quickly she forced herself into a bright smile since she was still on stage but it didn’t stop her from wondering what the creature had managed to do. During one of her spins she delicately brushed her hand over her head and found that the pycon had managed to flatten itself out with only its wings sticking out. The dancer had tried to be discrete with the movement but her eyes still widened slightly at her findings. There was something more unique about this creature than she had originally thought. Still, it didn’t stop her from dancing in the least.
When it was Nivel’s turn for the spotlight Sayana kept herself still to be the steady platform the pycon needed. She could feel the little creature do a little spin on her head and then felt Nivel shifting her weight in various ways. Even though Sayana couldn’t see what the squire was doing, she smiled brightly at the audience who seemed to be enjoying the show. It was rare for them to see a pycon on stage dancing, and even if the quality wasn’t as high, the novelty more than made up for it. The Eypharian resisted the urge to move her hands to attempt to feel what Nivel was doing and simply held them out so all eyes could easily see the little performer. A few patrons seemed quite surprised at Nivel’s incredible flexibility and flowing movements and gave an early clap in appreciation.
As Autumn moved into the final chorus, Sayana glanced quickly towards her and gave a nod. The musician nodded back as if confirming that this was the last chorus. With new vigor, Sayana scooped up Nivel in her high hands and held her aloft. The dancer did a series of hip twists, winding about like a snake as she let Nivel do her own dancing. Then at the end of the line in the music Sayana tossed the pycon up to land in her mid hands. The dancer filled the next line in the music with shimmies of her chest going side to side. Again as the musical phrase ended, Sayana tossed up Nivel again to land in her low hands this time. There was one last line of music that she used to shimmy her hips and let the pycon dance upon her low hands, before slowly bringing Nivel behind her back.
Just as the song was ending, Sayana did a strong throw of her low hands behind her back and tossed Nivel high above her head to land in her outstretched high hands. She nearly missed the catch, but managed to grab the pycon just in time for the finishing pose. Sayana ended with her low hands on her hips, her mids stretched out, and her highs holding Nivel in an elegant pose.
The dancer held the position for at least ten ticks as she caught her breath and enjoyed the applause. At last she called out, “And let’s give a special thank you to our guest, Nivel!”

Nivel devoured what little response she got from the crowd, even if she was feeling faint at this point she still appreciated any recognition her and Sayana were getting. Any worries she had that she would embarrass herself and Sayana were thrown out the door. Nivel gave a forced nod to those in the audience who started clapping early to show that she appreciated their encouragement.
The music Autumn was playing seemed to be coming to a close and after being shaken about by Sayana nodding to the musician, Nivel found herself being hoisted up by Sayana’s upper arms. The pycon noticed Sayana had started moving her hips in a serpent like fashion and tried to compliment this by doing something similar but different. Nivel’s first instinct was to shape shift into a snake creature but as soon as she even tried it she realized it would be to hard at the moment. Instead she flattened out her clawed hands on her tails and vibrated them like a snake tongue while the rest of her body swayed front to back like an agitated snake. Nivel would slowly ease back and then thrust her self forward threateningly to the beat of the music. It was a simple move but she felt it worked well with the music and with Sayanas moves.
Nivel was thrown up in the air again and preformed a simple mid air flip, she didn’t try anything fancy this time because she barely had any energy. After landing in the safety net of hands Sayana provided, the dancer’s moves changed and Nivel would have to as well. To Sayana’s chest shimmies, Nivel countered with countering head shakes. Nivel didn’t have as pronounced chest area as Sayana but she did have bigger ears than her. Nivel let her ears naturally sway back and forth in a similar seductive fashion as the more adept performer was doing with her assets. When that was over another throw to the air but Nivel wasn’t able to flip this time, she instead flapped her wings as if she was flying. Upon landing Nivel was free to do a few spins on Sayana’s lower arms before slowly being taken out of sight behind Sayana’s back.
Nivel was launched over top of dancers head and seeing as this was sure to be the Finally she preformed another twisted flip. Nivel could feel Sayana stumble bit in catching her, but to the pycons relief the dancer had thankfully managed to pull of the stunt. Nivel looked up to see that Sayana had done a pose for the finally and Nivel clumsily stubbled to do the same. Nivel placed her hand to her side in mimicry of her new fellow performer. There was a great deal of applause and Nivel was thankful but wanted to take a nap more than anything. “Thank you, It was a great pleasure to preform for you with Sayana” Nivel forced a cheerful holler she then turned to Sayana and gave her thanks with a wiggle of her sore ears.
When Sayana placed her down Nivel quickly whistled for her mount to pick her up. Nivel lazily crawled onto her mount’s hairy back and gave her the signal to carry her away. The pycon waved to her adoring public as she went back to her dorm room to sleep for a few days and recover her strength and Djed.
