I think I am in love with your cat!
I have serious cello envy. I learned violin when I was at school to be more like my sisters, but I really wish I'd done cello instead. I may buy one eventually, once I'm living somewhere without housemates to annoy with practising.
As a British person, it is my responsibility to ask this - which Doctor is your favourite? Which companion, too? D:
If you're a fan of CSI type stuff, do you watch NCIS at all? That's probably my favourite, and I think you'd quite like it: it's got a little bit more of a focus on the characters than those types of shows normally do, and there are some people on there that I think you'd like. I used to watch CSI and CSI: New York a lot when I was at university - I shared a house with a forensics student, so that'd be what we watched while we were eating dinner. Oh, and check out Castle too, if you haven't seen it - it's a bit more detective based than forensics based, but if you like comedy stuff, you'll probably really enjoy Nathan Fillion's character (aka. the coolest guy in the universe).
I kinda see you as having a sort of Aquaman / Ant-Man / Squirrel Girl type power, where you're able to command an army of butterflies and spiders and other nightmarish things to do your bidding. And your nemesis would be... Pest Control Man or something. Oooh, ooh, or maybe it's a giant hybrid of a dog and a scorpion that blasts sand out of it's tail!
A pet hermit crab sounds awesome though.
Falconry is one of the things I really really want to learn. For all my nervousness around fluttery things, I LOVE owls and raptors. I've done stuff with owls swooping down and taking food out of my hand, landing on my arm and stuff, I've been at falconry displays and had hawks swooping around my head and I was too super-excited and in awe to be scared, I guess? It's weird, I am less scared of flying things that actually could badly hurt me than the ones that can't.
