It has recently come to my attention that people have been waiting to do threads that require a moderator's active attention because of Charon's massive work load.

Hey folks,

First, I owe you all an explanation for my recent absence. I got a phone call and literally was on a plane heading to (I can't say where) 18 hours later. It was a very interesting experience for me but caught me very much by surprise. In my current job I honestly never thought anything like that would ever come up. Anyway, I'm back and hope to catch up by mid-week. If you haven't heard anything from me concerning your threads/PMs by the weekend the feel free to poke me/post in my office.

Otherwise, like Puck said, don't hesitate to ask for moderator jobs. Puck is a full-fledged AS here and will be involved with plots, character development, training, etc. And guess what, if you overtask Puck to the point where the two of us can't handle it, I'll just pull in another AS!! So no need to hold off until work loads decrease since a) we can get more help and b) we're likely to not ever reach a point of "workload decrease" at all. Have fun here and don't hold back for whatever reason!

Thanks for the understanding with my absence and you guys keep making Riverfall awesome for me!

Hey guys-

I just wanted to leave a note here because I know I have a lot of threads waiting on me. I've just went through a pretty difficult time irl and on top of that am knee deep in a project for the site that can no longer not be finished asap. So later in this week I'll be getting back to my threads and hitting them hot and heavy. Afterwards, I shouldn't have any more delays to keep me from posting.

I'm very sorry for all the delays. For some reason, this month has been a really really rough one. I'll be glad to see it go.

As a way of informing everyone before I vanish. My wife is expecting and due in two weeks, but could deliever at any time. So if I vanish for a week that most likely will be why.

Hey there guys!

Anybody who needs seasonal awards, experience, gifts, donations, whatever have you, please be sure to drop it by my office! Or Charon's for that matter.

In case you were wondering whether or not you warrant seasonal experience, there is a good chance that if you have to ask a mod then you don't. Seasonal experience is generally awarded to PCs that run or participate in some sort of business or activity. A great example would be Kavala working at The Sanctuary.

I want to reiterate to everyone that I truly encourage each and every one of you to contribute towards writing up new locations, flora, fauna, etc that can enhance the beautiful city of Riverfall. However, I also must remind you that before incorporating these newly created jewels that will help add to the culture of Riverfall, please get approval! I would highly suggest you post it up in the world development forum for others to comment on and help make it that much better, but you can also post it in my office thread as well. Either way, once you get permission to use it in character (by me) then go right ahead!

I don't want to hinder anybody from using their creative juices to enhance the best city in Mizahar, but it needs to happen via the proper channels first! Thanks, and let me know if you have questions or want to throw tomatoes at me!

After way too long of a delay, I've created the physical location for the Council of Elders. Players, feel free to use the thread for any of your governmental needs within Riverfall. I had put off creating it for a while because there just were not enough players who really needed it at the time, but now that the city has truly taken off it's actually later than it should have been.

Regardless, it's here now and open for business... Enjoy!

Everybody welcome Jerrico to Riverfall!!

He is the newest member of our mod team and will be a great addition. Definitely feel free to put him to work with XP requests and make sure you give him some good experience!

Just to let everybody here know, even though it's written in my office thread, I will be out of town but might be able to post 2-5 July and will be gone without internet access from 12-28 July. From 2-5 August I will be out of town working and have no clue if I'll be able to post. I'm going to try and finish up any remaining threads before 12 July, especially any still lingering from Spring! New threads, I have no problem starting, if you're cool with the delays considering my posting schedule. Any questions, just let me know!
