Hi Guys!

Fall is sorta the wind down time for Sanctuary because we've gotten all the supplies in during the Summer, Foaling is over, and we're ready for spring besides the rebuilding. I haven't gotten paid yet because I haven't applied for wages because I want my job threads finished before I get going.

I'm a little slow on posting because once I got my threads organized I realized kav has about 49 outstanding (Some solos though). I'll have some wrapped up later this week as I'm doing some personal writing goals and struggling to finish some stuff for the site Lorebook - namely a kelvic rewrite before Friday.

Anyhow.. I thought we'd look at the Calendar and see what Sanc wanted to do and participate in. Not all this stuff needs to be moderated.

1st - Fall begins.
13th - Significant grassland fire outside Riverfall
22nd - Meteor falls within the city limits
25th - The Fire Festival
34th - Fortune teller sets up for one day in the Cliffside Grotto telling odd fortunes.
41st - Small traveling circus of Inverted settles into town for ten days of shows.
45th - Remembrance Day
48th - Shipwreck washes mysterious wreckage up on shore.
50th - Large Rainstorm causes flooding in the streets as the Bluevein briefly spills its banks.
51st - Ghostship filled with dead arrives in Riverfall. No one living aboard.
54th - Stranger wanders into the city selling a miraculous cure all that turns out that it makes everyone hallucinate.
58th - Large sea creature attacks harbor
62nd - A Yowllwing leads a Yowlwing rebellion.
65th - Mysterious cough passes through the city.
68th - Beautyfest
70th - Yukman Army Attacks (see Mist for ongoing quest).
80th - The Wine Festival
84th - Small Earthquake Strikes
91st - Fall Ends - Large Sale In Bazaar (Lastday Sales)

I'm interested in the Bolded events for Sanc. I will be running as a mod the Halloween ghost ship threads so I won't be joining it, but you guys will have a ton of fun if you do. I'd like to run the fire festival from a pc perspective so we can all go to that as a group for some R&R and personal bonding. And how about the we investigate the guy selling the potions that make you hallucinate? We can have some much needed fun with that. I personally would like to envision Serrif as a 7ft tall pink bunny myself. Anyone have any ideas for the shipwreck or have any ideas for anything else?

I'm also going to get the JrSt to run at least one of the festivals. Beautyfest might be fun for us ladies to go bond and get makeovers or whatever. We can make the most prudish/fun whichever guy among us.. Elem maybe?.. escort us?

What do you guys think? Lets start some threads and make some plans.

Maybe Serrif will see Crescent instead of Kavala and run from her like a madman or something!

And the 70th army thing

I propose we add the 80th wine festival to the list what could possibly go wrong? It could be really really good fun for all. So yeah all looks good to me; again another really really busy season especially when coupled with all the stuff that has yet to be wrapped up. I’m guilty of that as well.

Hey guys! Just wanted to let everyone know I retired Lu and Rawls, so Elem is my only PC now. Plenty of work ahead and am totally available. On that note, I wanted to ask you guys what projects Elem could be working on to help the Sanctuary? He doesn't have any building skills, but there are tools and he is fairly intelligent, right? So, any projects or other work that any of you can use a hand with, let me know!

Gianne, Rhy... do you ladies want to go to the Beautyfest so we can give Gianne a makeover? I think that would be a fun bonding experience for us. We'd take Rhy to keep us out of trouble and for protection, of course!

Elem.. I haven't sat down and decided what needs to be built this season because I haven't gotten paid for last season yet and I'm not sure how much mad money Kav will have to spend on projects. But like we've already talked, almost all the landscaping, gardening, etc needs to be done. I thought you'd talked about diving on those projects.

Indeed. Ok, sounds good. The main medicinal garden is a thread called Green Thumb. Will the other gardens be ornamental and medicinal? Also, while I.know that all of the abobe ground areas are marked off, is there still rubble to clear off? There is probably a need for wood as well for firewood as well as lumber. Should I do a thread about chopping some trees down and whatnot?
