Couple of things! I got paid for Summer, so if you have a summer salary coming, let me know. I'll pay you here and you can count on your funding. I will have Kav's books all updated once I have your input on what you are owed. I think I have Serrif and Aweston to pay for Summer, the rest of you get paid at the end of Fall unless I'm incorrect. Also, I applied for three NPC's officially. I have had permission for Aweston for a while, but I decided to make it official other than a DS giving him to me in thread as an 'employee'. I made him family - in a round about way - and Bolden Denusk's half brother by the same mother. It's all in the name of tormenting Van with his shortcomings. Vanator, in case you don't know, is Kavala's brother Bolden's father. He had a child with a woman very young and Kav and Van's father adopted the child so he was raised as a 'little brother' rather than a grandson. *points and laughs at Van* Yea. He was THAT sort as a young young man. Cadra is going to be adopted here in thread along with her twin Larik. Kav needs a full time cook and food preservativist around Sanctuary and Larik can be the eyes in the sky. Feel free to RP them if you'd like. I see her as a friendly sort and I built a little friendly rivalry friendship into her NPCness with Rhy so Rhy can have some fun if she chooses. Larik gets along with everyone, but does have broody tendencies like his father and flies off at odd times.

Name: Cadra Denusk Title: Cook Status: NPC - Up For Adoption Salary: 3GM Day Expertise: Cooking - 25, Food Preservation - 25 Biography:Cadra was purchased by Kavala from Rattling Chains and adopted as a ‘sister’ in thread (to be written asap). She is aprox 1 year old kelvic domestic longhaired cat. Larik is her twin. Kavala and Cadra are not bonded but are close friends and work together at The Sanctuary. Cadra is friendly, outgoing, and enjoys her dominion over Sanctuary’s kitchen and food preservation situation. She is willing to teach anyone who wants to learn and often accepts help or respites from her duties so others can cook. Cadra is known to play tricks on Rhy and sometimes steals Rhy’s prominent spot by the hearth or flat out curls up with the kelvic dog, when she thinks no one is looking – especially other cats. Cadra is actually Vantor Denusk's daughter. Name: Larik Denusk Title: Guard/Watch Status: NPC - Up For Adoption Salary: 4GM Day Expertise: Wilderness Survival - 25, Khopesh - 25 Biography: Larik was purchased by Kavala from Rattling Chains and adopted as a ‘brother’ in thread (to be written asap). He is a aprox 1 year old kelvic eagle twin to Cadra. Kavala and Larik are not bonded but are close friends and work together at The Sanctuary. Larik is friendly, outgoing, and enjoys his watchful position over Sanctuary’s exterior and herds. He is willing to teach anyone who wants to learn and often accepts company on his watch duty. Larik is actually Vanator Denusk's son. Name: Aweston Denusk Title: Head Groom Status: NPC - Up For Adoption Salary: 4GM Day Expertise: Horsemanship 20, Riding 15, Leatherworking 15 Biography: Aweston and Kavala met in Endrykas when Kavala bought her first horses for Sanctuary. He returned to the Sanctuary with her to help her herd horses and ended up staying on as a groom. He is around Sanctuary and free to be NPC'd by anyone interested. Aweston is twenty years old and Bolden Denusk's half brother by his mother. He took on the Denusk name when he moved in with Kavala so there'd be no question that they were family.

I've been asked about this, so I made a few decisions. The two new kelvic NPCs can sleep wherever. Ones an eagle and ones a cat who probably will shack up with any welcoming warm lap. I think the eagle can stay in the mews and help out with the birds there. I'll make sure it has a comfortable cot and chest for his things. The rest of you... I doubled up the bondmates. These are huge rooms, though the map makes them look small. They are 500 square feet with elaborate decorations. You can describe your own room if you'd like. The latrines are down the walkway below linked by steps from each room beneath.. so Elem and Serrif share a latrine, while Iris and Gianne/Rhy do too. Aweston and Van as well. I don't know why this is important but I'm just throwing it out there. It's clear to me we need the other guest rooms done asap as well.

Just wanted to make a minor announcement to my Sanctuary family! I won't be on at all this weekend. At least, I won't be making any posts from Friday to Sunday. I'm going on a horseback trip, which is obviously low tech. Horses don't come with electronic outlets, needless to say, so I'll be off the grid! It'll be very refreshing, although it's too bad it's supposed to be 50 degrees the whole time. The most that would happen is that I log on with my phone for a few minutes to absently see if anything has been said OOC or if the open threads I'm in have gotten any more posts. I'm still sort of behind on threads but not nearly as bad as I was, so my stress levels are down to the manageable zone. Also, I promised Jen I would give her a picture of my horse Lily, who I will be riding for the trip obviously. I have two horses but I don't ride the other one, except on rare occasions. My Appaloosa is my companion horse. Anyway! Behold my baby! She's bloated in this picture - just finished eating.

Sorry about not posting everyone. I had a really busy day today with the farrier coming out for an hour and staying three to BS about politics. Then once I was done I crashed hard in a nap after a long night of work last night. I'm heading in today but I'll do some posting when I get home. I'm kinda at that point where I have too much to do and I spin my wheels trying to decide what to get done. I just need to get something done, regardless of what it is.
