Welcome to Dreamscapes!

This is a forum for Dreams which may not fit into other forums. Minds can meet here that are in different physical locations. Threads can be esoteric and not follow the rules the rest of the game has established. However, there's a catch. Dream threads cannot be awarded experience points. You cannot learn new things or information in dreams. You can, occasionally, be awarded lores that regard you dreams, or very rarely an occasional observation point or two. Unless you are a Dreamwalker who has the gnosis Dreamwalking, then you cannot actually 'control' your own dreams. Because of this fact, all dreams are open to storytellers popping in for the length and duration of the dream or for a single post. Also, all threads in this forum are considered open unless otherwise marked. Writers can control their pc's dreamscapes, but in order for PCs to actually control their own actions in dreams (lucidly) they need to have some mental discipline or meditation that's appropriate to the action.

Timestamping is required. Also, any storytellers are free to pop in on any of the Dreamscape threads they'd like too. Anyone can join any thread here.

Feel free to use this thread as a Q&A and OOC feature of this forum.

I know Xp is rare and all, but if we want someone to grade it to see if any lore is avail who would we submit it to?

Reminder: Dreamscapes can't have closed or private threads. All threads here are open to all pcs and mods.

I just wanted to ask this since there seemed to be some confusion on it (either on my end, or on others'). People are not allowed to play out Gods in their dreams unless they are modded by a DS+, right?

Only DS or above modded threads can have God interactions in them. its the same gamewide.

I'm in a bit of a quandary. I'm planning to write a dream thread for Siiri for character development purposes but I just read that dream threads can't be closed. I take this to mean that anyone and everyone can come in and post in my thread without needing to ask for permission. I do not want this to happen, especially if it will cause the story I'm trying to write to deviate from the course I want it to take.

Would it be more appropriate to post the thread somewhere else? As a journal entry perhaps, or in the location sub-forum where the dream occurs? The thing about my thread is, it will have flashback scenes that actually happened in the waking world (an side question for that: would I get XP for flashbacks like that? Or do I not get any, being part of a dream thread and all?).

I see its been a while and, as far as I can tell here at least, Siiri's question wasn't answered. Does anyone have an answer to this, because I too have the exact same sort of question.
