I've showed these pictures before... but here they are again.

My workspace is typically a total and utter mess (like pictured) because its an art studio. Yes, I'm an artist. I keep Mizahar and my artist identity separate. One half of the room is divided into a two section custom built tilt drafting table desk (the laptop is on it currently and its in the down position) and behind that is two big shelves of "art stuff jen can't live without (tm)" (cutting table, turntables, paints, prismicolors, glue, ribbon, paint samples, all sorts of clay and watercolor stuff) and my lovebird cage on the permanent section. There's a big freshwater aquatic terrarium tank that houses multiple bettas and aquatic plants/animals. The color is deceptively pale in this shot. Its actually a rich salmon pink accented in black throughout the room.

The other half of the room not pictured is made of a 'mini library' gaming studio. It's got a fainting couch resting shrink style up against the backside of the desk and a flatscreen hanging on the wall among bookshelves that house tons of paperbacks on the rest of the walls. I also took a shot of the curtains because they are one of my favorite parts of the room. They have grape cluster lights hanging off them for mood. I took a picture, though it didn't turn out very good in the dark.

PS. Because Jules asked, the art above the tank is not my own but rather by an artist named Renee Biertempfel (the one shown is out of print - sorry!). She's a lovely artist.

I paint here, I draw here, I write here I game here. I totally neglect my drafting table. Oh well. I like being comfortable.

As you can see, I'm currently working on my oil painting. There's a mess EVERYWHERE.

Jen: I love it, totally jealous, and it's totally you. Though I am not a wine drinker, your grape light totally made me crave some. Evven though you claim it's a mess, it's not. It's just lived in, which is perfect. I can't wait to have a place of my own.

Pao: I could never do that. I'd feel way too cramped. Being in the same play to sleep, write, read, homework, whatever never works for me. I have a slightly different spot for each of them.

But it's cute. You have a hot knee. I can see it.

Here's my unusually tidy space, normally it gets cluttered so fast, but I'm remodeling right now, I wonder how long that tidyness will last:D And yes I'm over 20 and I still have horse figures as decor:)
