The Djed Storm [Cairo]

She saw his indecision, hesitation. " why do you matter to me!" she yelled as the house shook again. Genesis thought she must be going crazy. She looked up at him, into his sorry eyes... And she kissed him. As her lips pressed to hers, she felt his body stiffen with suprise.

She was kissing him. His body defrosted with a florish of action and he leant forward, returning the kiss and gripping her waist with his comparitavly huge hands.
Her cheecks were still damp with her tears and he knew that this was probably just her emotions taking control of her but he couldn bring himself to care.

She let him pull her closer, falling into his arms as the house swayed. He ended up on his back. Genesis wanted him to know what she had done, but she couldn't stand the rejection. She loved the feel of his lips warm aginst hers.

He should stop, he knew it. He was taking advantage of her in her emotional state, and it was so wrong of him. He should push her away, apologise, beg for forgiveness, but he couldnt.
Her small yet curvy figure was on top of his own and he could hardly restrain himself. He reach up, wrapping his fist in her hair and claiming her mouth ferociously. He kissed, and nipped and bit, pulling her tighter against himself.
Finally, he pulled away to catch his breath, pressing a kiss to her cheek, her jaw, her neck...
He had worked up enough strength to pull away from her. He lay flat on his back, gazing up at her flushed, beautiful face, his hands still wrapped in the silky strands of her hair.

Genesis looked down at him, her breathing heavy. She was surprised at herself, but... Not regretful. It was? Amazing. Her body was pressed against his, she found her hands gripping his shoulders. They were muscled and strong, she couldnt help but run her fingers down farther. When her eyes returned to his, she couldn't figure out what he was thinking. He looked like a sheepish child who was hoping you wouldn't notice he stole the last cookie.

"Whats wrong?" How could he not want her already, he didn't even know. He had a fistful of her hair as he looked up at her.

He wasn't sure what to say.
He didnt want to hurt her feelings, and he definantly didnt want her to think he wasnt interested, but they had only just meet. Yes, he was attracted to her in an odd way, not just physically but mentally too, but they shouldnt have to rush things.

Ah, so atleast it wasn't what she thought it was, she could see it in his. She rolled off of him, her hair coming out of his grip. Genesis pressed her back against the wall, her lip snagged between her teeth as she listened to the storm. What an interesting string of occurrences. And how out of character. She peaked at Cairo who was finally pulling himself off the floor. He looked ruffled, she had to hide a chuckle.

"Sorry." Genesis slowly stood up, her hand pressed firmly to the wall for balance just in case. She slid over to the window and peaked outside, the wind hitting her in the face. The canals were flooding, the bridges destroyed, and parts of the city sinking. It could not be good. "Cairo, look!"

Genesis recovered the window and ran to the door, flinging it open. Cairo, having followed, noticed with her that the water level had risen into the second floor. The dark murky water was slowly climbing the stairs towards them. How far would it rise? Either way they were trapped in the building. Genesis, strange as this may sound, had never learned to swim. They would either need to get to higher ground or pray that the storm was over soon. For as drastic as the damage was becoming, the storm had only raged a short while. Not even a full bell.

She retreated back into the room, sealing the door behind her. She had a feeling that it would be okay. Watching Cairo, genesis lay against the wall, crossing her arms. She was exhausted. Despite her feeling, she half expected the water to start pooling neneath her, rising until it suffocated her. Eventually the storm began to lessen and her eyes began to drift shut. The last thing she saw was Cairo's eyes.

You Question My Logic? :

Notes: Cairo, just a note, though your PC might not realize this yet, it is unwise to announce that you are from Syliras to random strangers in Ravok. Really.. your PC should know this, because Syliras and Ravok are mortal enemies. Also, most people don't know about Divination or what it is. Generally, the thought of someone being able to see their past and future would be frightening.

Genesis, divination isn't as accurate as you are making it out to be. You don't just touch someone and know everything there is to know about them. While reading someone's chavi is relatively easy in comparison to Dreamwalking, it is not always clear cut and can be rather confusing and difficult to interpret. Also, same goes for telling him about your divination. Your PC may not know it yet, but in Ravok, people with gnosis marks other than Rhysol are usually captured and enslaved. Just something you might want to keep in mind for the future.

Other than that, it was a sweet little thread. I hope you guys had fun and will continue writing here.
