Gianne- I didn't mean to make you feel like "poop". I just was being straight forward with you. Thanks for the apology but the key to thriving as a PC in Mizahar is to drive your threads. Make them happen. Don't wait for others to post.. post around them or solo out unfinished or dropped threads. If you are here and active, usually people and their guilt take care of itself and they'll post. If they are busy, which we all understand, they will apologetically let you know and get to you when they can. It's when they claim being busy, yet post for one or two people only, that the butthurt becomes a problem! If in doubt, its always best to talk about things and work things through.

Name: Kavala Denusk, of the Denusk Pavilion, Sapphire Clan Title: Owner - Trainer - Breeder Status: PC Expertise: Animal Husbandry, Healing, Medicine, Reimancy, Riding, Daggers, Unarmed Combat Biography: Kavala was born Kavala Denusk of the Denusk Pavilion, Sapphire Clan. Akela is her older sister, both of whom were born to the Ankal of his second wife, a Konti who came to the grasslands on her Call. Raised Drykas, both girls retain a great deal of their birth culture. Kavala rides and believes in the Drykas philosophy of horse training, preferring a noted lack of tack to heavy saddles and bridles and heavy cruel bits. She was born with a Rak'keli mark and later acquired a second making her a first rate healer, though not a priestess. She traveled from Endrykas to Mura in the Spring of 507 and on her return trip in 509 was captured by slavers out on the grass. Confined, abused, and bound for Zith territory, Kavala was rescued by an Akalak raiding party who returned to Riverfall and saw too it that she survived her ordeal. Rather than simply set her free, Kavala fell into Nakivak status, which is a woman who owes a life debt to the Akalak people. She must act as a surrogate mother for one or more men until her Nakivak debt is paid off. In the mean time she founded Sanctuary and has built up a thriving animal and kelvic healing facility as well have taken great pains to begin breeding horses for the Akalak people that she hopes will eventually become their own breed. [Gianne Basete]

Name: Gianne Basete Title: Riding Instructor Status: PC Expertise: Horseback Riding & Shortbow Biography: Gianne was born and raised in Zeltiva, and had a good childhood. There was nothing to complain about; no hardships, good parents, and a nice home. She came to Riverfall in the summer of 512 AV, ended up at the Sanctuary and snagged a job doing what she had come with the hopes to do; work with horses. Since then she has fallen in love for the first time, found a best friend in the form of a fiery Kelvic, and was marked by the Goddess Caiyha to help take care of the Sea of Grass. The new year will hold a lot of changes for her and her way of life, as well as her entire being.

[Tia'aria]

Name: Tia'aria Avalyn
Title: Cook and Helping Hand

Expertise: Cooking
Biography: Tia'aria was born and raised in Riverfall. She had a good family life, a large family to begin with, and was very lovingly cared for by both her mother and her father.

After the Djed Storm in the Spring and after she lost somebody dear to her, Aria moved out of her family home and into the Pearl House to begin a new stage of her life and to mourn by herself in peace. It is only in the past Winter that she has begun to step out of her shell and participate again. In doing so, she managed to land a job at Sanctuary as a cook and helping hand.

[Loken]

I am willing to have Loken do anything on the Calendar list events. If there are Zith causing trouble in the area he would see it as part of his job to go hunting the trouble makers down. (The fact that their are/will be bounties is an added bonus). As well as I think Loken could use a dog as a buddy, so he may foster parent one then end up buying one later. Loken would also gladly also accompany Riaris, Kav, and company as a guard/extra set of hands while they go ruin crawling. Tia'aria: Loken wants to learn about herbs to better his knowledge about healing. So if Tia is ever out and about looking for herbs in the wild he could accompany her as a protector. In relation to her job as a cook just feel free to open any random threads where she makes food and i'll toss Loken in to eat. Dust: I would be happy to help you with unarmed combat and acrobatics skills. Everyone: I shall make a thread that is open to all sanctuary staff, the time stamp being "Early Spring". Name: Loken Title: Guard Status: PC Expertise: Unarmed Combat, Tiger Hook Sword Biography: Loken was born in Sunberth never knowing his real parents. After spending a small part of his childhood within the city orphanage, he was adopted by a couple who could not bare children. After his adopted mother died, his adopted father fell into depression and abandoned Loken. He eventually found his way to Ahnatep where he joined the Librum of Ano Cultists. He devoted himself to the goddess Gnora's teachings aiding balance, order, and logic through physical prowess. He now works as a guard for The Sanctuary believing the place of healing to be a beacon of order in the wild world that is worth protecting.

[Dust]

Name: Dust Title: Mews Mistress Status: PC Expertise: Being a bird herself. Biography: A white raven Kelvic, Dust spent her brief childhood in The Spires. In 508 AV, she attached herself to a merchant caravan, the better to see other places and peoples. She spent the next four years traveling eastern Mizahar with one group or another, until arriving at Riverfall in the middle of Fall 512 AV. Dust soon became a visitor at the Sanctuary, eventually taking up a position in the mews.

I do have a rather important (?) announcement. I am in a small scale theatrical performance of Alice in Wonderland and our show night is March 15th. I am also the costume designer, and I'm getting thrown a lot of assignments at work, so I will not be on AT ALL until the weekend AFTER the 15th. That's... a little less than 2 weeks from now. I have a lot of stuff to get done within that short time, and Mizahar will only be a distraction to me. So until then, I will not be on. Which is ironic, since I said I was back. But I will be back after that! I'll be glad when it's over. It's been very stressful. So I just wanted to tell everyone that I will not be on. This is going to be the longest almost 2 weeks of my life.

Hi guys! Just letting you know my internet is completely wonky today. I'll have it for five minutes and then it will shut down for an hour and a half or more. I keep calling but they just say the DSL line is having 'issues'. I'll try to post, but since this is very unusual for my provider QWEST, I'm not sure how much Ill get done between now and work and having to fit a vet trip in there for a cat that's sick. I hopefully will get the issues resolved for the rest of the week. Jen
