I'm fine with not getting paid, I've been too busy to be very active, on top of alts. I'm trying to get a foothold back in the area with posts, but I also have other stuff I have to juggle. I was thinking of changing her occupation on top of that, something that will keep her out in the grasslands. Need to get deeper in the Phylonura aspect.

Figured I'd pop in here and say hello with this character, a new guard that will lurk around the Sanctuary and also go on general outer area patrols. (Man has a tent so I figured he would put it to use camping out and making sure no lurkers are scouting out the place.) For the most part I can offer anyone who wants the opportunity to gain unarmed combat skills, or a person to practice their weapon of choice against Loken in a spar the chances to boost those skills.

Anyway, if I am not mistaken Kavala is to be the thread starter to my initial job interview thread that will also be open to Vanator. So I can't wait enough for that.

For people who might want to plot with Loken in some way, essentially he has the (Current) mindset of wanting to protect healers because healers are worth protecting. Since he has no current skill to combat sickness, he aims to logically maintain order the only way he knows how: with his combative skills and tactical mind. He trained in his youth with the Ano to meet havoc head on and to go in search for disorder should he see a sign of it. That or discontent (Dude really hates to see people waste their lives. Super anti-emo since he likes to control his emotions.)

I want him to learn various skills which can be found on his plot notes so any help in those areas would be great.

So that is Loken in a nutshell peeps. Long term or short term plots welcomed.

Welcome Loken!

I'm in the process of posting something up right now for us. Vanator as he has time will join in. Right now hes under a heavy work load so if its just us for a while that's fine with me. As always anyone from The Sanctuary is welcome to drop by any of the Sanctuary threads. We have several interviews going on first of Spring as well.

You have some great goals. I know there's some things in there I want to work on as well. Namely I'd like Kavala to get introduced to Acrobats, learn more Poison and increase her riding. In addition this season I'd like to get her some more wilderness survival starting from the basics - ground up. I'm up for threads regarding any of those things.

Also Riaris and I are planning an adventure to go ruins crawling and possibly learn Arcitectrix to get The Sanctuary some sentience. This would either be a self moderated adventure ran with ST permission or maybe we can talk one of the ST's into running a crawl for us with this sort of goal in mind. Anyone want to camp out for a day or two and have some action/adventure?

In terms of this seasons events, we'll need to focus on finishing our Cross Country Course of last season to be ready for this event!

65th - There is a cross country race held on this day at The Sanctuary's Cross Country course. Sanctuary sponsers the event with proceeds going to charity.

In terms of the other events, I have interest in working on:

15th - Zith attack a caravan sent to Riverfall to trade. Riverfall has had enough. Nivar and Teval Chivan declare a bounty on Zith. 50 gold will be paid per corpse. Right wing or head accepted as proof of Zith death. Proof must be turned in at a the Council Chambers.
20nd - Some animals in the menagerie give birth to unusually large litters, and a call is sent out for foster parents until areas can be expanded.

With maybe's on....

48th - A minor wind storm brings a tree down that lets out some of the exotics from The Menagerie. They must be rounded up and returned after their compounds are returned.
72st - A stranger comes to Riverfall selling adorable children's toys, a set of 10. Toys come alive at night to steal things. Stranger turns out to be a priest of Sagallius using Cordas to manipulate the toys.

If anyone has any other goals - like I need to finish threads from last season and wrap up building the Upper Sections - feel free to post them here and we can work on them! Elem, feel free to post up your 'reassignment' thread and we'll jump on that.

It should be a fun season!

Hey guys! I totally missed posting in here before, but I've come to do so now! I really, really look forward to interacting with you all.

Kavala- I'm game for any and all of those events in the calendar. I find its best to reach my goals facing them head on and in regards to Zith and other baddies, Tia isn't going to learn how to fight proper without some fighting experience outside of brawls. If you're okay with having me on, I'd like to also go exploring some ruins with you and Riaris and learning a thing or two about combat from you, Loken and Vanator (although some things we say to eachother won't be understood).

In return, I offer cooking experience, free divination (yay!), and a helping hand that's really willing to get her hands dirty.

Character goals for Tia'aria that relate to her job at the Sanctuary are to gain a competency in riding skill and help out with riding lessons, learn about local herbs and participate in the planting of certain herbs both beneficial to cooking and medicines. On that note I'd like Tia to take on medicine and get involved in physically taking care of animals, all the way from picking hooves to sewing injuries. If anybody would like to talk threads with me, let me know.

All that sounds great Tia! I hope we can get all this stuff worked into this season. Three months seems like a lot of time, but really it isn't. Feel free to post threads about cooking in the kitchen, social stuff, anything really for folks to join and get to know you.

I'm super glad we all have goals! I hope some of the rest of you post some of yours as well.

Maybe Loken will take some of us under his wing with the Unarmed and give us ladies some lessons on fighting. Loken, you should feel free to post any sort of thread like that you want. We can jump in. And if Timestamping is an issue, we can always do the 'early spring, middle spring, late spring' thing. I know Vanator will be glad to have some additional male influence around. Riaris should be hanging out as well. I think hes going to be around a bit more also. He's got an open invite to threads here too. I should have said that earlier.

Hello everybody! I'm still a little bogged down by RL, but I'm definitely looking forward to getting Dust involved in everything this season. (well, many things, at any rate...)

Kavala -- I think it would be cool to have Dust help foster something. Perhaps some kind of non-bird avian? (It would challenge her much more to deal with something from a different clade, but I would want it to still have wings, because she will expect fewer differences on the strength of that superficial similarity.) I would also be happy to "camp out for a day or two and have some action/adventure" if Dust's present lack of weapons skill isn't a non-starter. If it is, no problem, I've got plenty else to keep me busy.

Loken -- I'd like to have Dust start on unarmed combat, since you're volunteering! Maybe she could also join you and Kav for some acrobatics work?

Tia'aria -- Hello again! I would happily have Dust come instigate a disaster or two in the kitchen as she tries to help with cooking, if that appeals to you.

Elem -- I'd like to follow up on maps and cartography from our last thread, if possible! And Dust won't let the subjects of stories and Char drop, either.

Vanator -- When you are un-busy, we need to plan some threads for this season! Just let me know when you're free.

Among my more general goals for Dust are: teaching her to read, accruing more words/languages, maybe get some skill with sling and dagger as well as unarmed. Oh -- and Dust turns six this season, which she may not make much noise about, but I think is noteworthy.

Feel free to suggest anything else, too -- I'm pretty much open to anything!

I owe everyone at the Sanctuary an apology. For the winter season, I was s*** with Gianne. I would post for some people, wait, post for others, or just ignore this PC. I lost my muse. My mass amount of abandoned threads that I've been waiting to be replied to, nothing came, so I got mad at this PC and stomped off like an angry kid to work on alts. Won't happen anymore. I'm going to turn in all my abandoned threads, and just start fresh. Going to redo my CS layout, and get some new plots going. Rhy and Serrif disappearing was really discouraging since I had SO many threads with them, but I'm not going anywhere anytime soon so you're stuck with me!

Thank Jen for making me feel like poop, rethink how I was treating me PC and all my thread partners, and decide I need to just get over it and push through the wall that is "Lack of Muse". And Van, I owe you a SoG thread. Forgive me, everyone!
