OOC Info [Wind Reach OOC] Touching the Sky

Hey! I just wanted to say that I'm back. (I'm not threading with anyone right now but whatever) Les Miserables went really well and we sold out during several of our performances. It was really fun! But anyway, I'm going on Spring Break soon so I will be able to start posting a lot more. If any of you want to thread, just send me a PM!

Just a quick question for anyone who may know the answer .

I was wondering if there were any famous songs floating around Wind Reach (something like an Anthem, or maybe just a well known song drunkards would sing, or maybe a famous ballad about the history of Wind Reach) for my character to sing IC. Also if anyone knows of any songs that there may be floating around by famous musicians, please point me in the direction, I think it would be interesting for my PC do to a cover of one of them IC.


I am not sure if anything of that manner would exist, buuuuut just in case I decided to throw that out there for anyone who may have the answer .

Hey, Ara!

No, there is no official song floating around that would be considered the Wind Reach Anthem. However, you are more than welcome to write it and submit it, if you like. There is a whole development thread for you to post your submission in and there are even points and prizes you can earn for doing so. Check out the Treasure Nest. It's stickied at the top of the forum.

Now, for my little announcement. I changed out the Valintar thread because, after a while, I just like to start afresh. It was 8 pages long and so I just copied the same information Goss originally made over into a new one. Simple as that. Rules are still the same, the link is still in the link map

Shameless Advertising This open thread is available for anyone who'd like to hop in it. Rengar has been tasked with repairing one of the Forward Camps, which could take several days. Anyone can join, as Wind Eagles would deliver hunters and helpers to the camp. So if you'd like some wilderness survival training, or perhaps hunting, woodworking, or any other number of skills associated with the task, come join it!

Hello,

So, when I first wrote up Kanri, I made her fairly generic because I did not know how I wanted her to be. Now, she developed a much more distinctive personality and I would really like to do a heavy rewrite of my character sheet to match her better formed personality. I know that is not officially allowed without permission. Who would I ask to watch closely as I change that?

If anyone can answer my questions, that would be great! Thanks!

You can edit and change your character concept and history throughout gameplay as needed. You cannot, however, add things that need special permission, or change your skills and lore as you have exceeded sixty posts. You can PM me when you have finished rewriting and I will read over it for you.

I just want to point out this thread, in case any of you don't check it out weekly. We were number two for thread count last week! THATS FANTASTIC! I am so so so proud of you guys! We are one of the smaller, nitch cities and we are always high up there on the list but this is just fantastic!

What this shows is that even when I am less than present, you guys can thrive and grow and have fun. It means that you all are posting like crazy and telling stories and getting your words out there and that's absolutely fantastic. I love the PC's here and I think you all are great.
