The Outer Oceans is not a typical forum. Moderation is split between most all of the staff and it is not a location heavy area. This is the open ocean and some of the uncharted coasts.

Here is where you can connect with other players exploring the waters, or ask burning questions about the forum itself. Please do not ask any questions until you have read the players' guide. I tried real hard to make it purty, so let me know you care

By 'uncharted coasts', do you mean the coasts of Mizahar, or somewhere else?

Just the coasts of Mizahar. And the coast is more incidental setting in the thread than the main one. If you're exploring, that thread belongs in the region's wilds. If you're on the ocean for most the thread, but need to drop off passengers or cargo in an area that has no city or proper docks, that can be integrated briefly into the thread. The bulk of any writing here should take place on a boat.

Will the part of the ocean in the north of Mizahar be similar to the Artic?

Hi guys! I might be posting a location here after a while, once there is a linkmap or whatever. I have mentioned in the past that there is a small outpost on the northern coast that allows for trade with Ravok, though I haven't made one for it yet. So this seems like a good place to do that. Also, yay for new forum!!

I would ask the Regional mods for specifics (Valkyrie), but I have read somewhere that ocean ice does accrue in the north, so yes.

Also, V, super exciting. If you want it here instead of connected to the city, I will get a pretty linkmap up today.

As far as locations, creatures and such go, are you currently accepting ideas? And if so, is there going to be a separate "development" thread for works in progress, or are such things to be posted here?

I've waited far too long to do this, but here I am posting in this forum as the logical ST to do so.

I'll do my best to reply to this thread myself, though I'm not actually too 'in' on what plans are here.
