A horse and figs(Miu)

"Two thumbs, huh? I wonder how useful that would actually be... Probably more cumbersome than anything, I'd think." Lyn'nice pondered more to herself than to Miu.

"Oh using these as bait would make sense. Shows how much I know about any of this homesteading stuff. She said in awe, "Needles too? Wow, you're really resourceful! You should try to braid fish bones, I bet you'd be good at that too. Although that's more of a crafting hobby than a functional item. Well, if there was one bear there's probably more. Just be sure to stay safe out here, okay?" Lyn'nice was a bit worried about Miu being out here alone with large predators on the loose.

"I will find peace within the future, This is what drives me forward."

Miu smirked a bit cutting up the good meat before throwing it on the rock as it sizzled, "Bears? They're just blankets to me." She took off her pack picking through her saved meat and pulled it all out, all in all she had five good rolls of rabbit in deer meat and a few fish that would last a night but some of the meat was going bad, "Problem is I use most of it as bait... I can't figure out how to keep it fresh. I thought about building a box inside a larger box and lined the outside of the smaller box with snow daily to keep it frozen and then unheat it but Nails and Fingers don't mix with my hands, I may be a good shot but with a hammer in my hand and I might as well have an extra finger to spare." She laughed a bit raising her hand to show the hard bumps on the bottoms of her fingers from hunting and working with her mallet, "Lucky me my fingers are getting harder it seems like the bottom of my feet."

She bit her lip shifting the meat around with her eating knife that was starting to get dull, "I might teach you to shoot and hunt after we eat, depends on if the little one there is happy with you running a bit." She waved her blood covered knife towards her stomach before pulling off the ready meat with her bare fingers hissing a bit as she tossed it onto one of her deer skins she had been eating off of before repeating the quick process. "I really do need to start trying to make plates..."

"You talk as if bears are puppies!" Lyn'nice nodded, "You mean like an ice box? That's a good idea. Well you did have a few extra fingers with those berries."

Lyn'nice laughed, "We'll see if he's up for it, a little training or learning won't hurt an Akalak Warrior. Ain't that right, buddy?" Lyn'nice spoke to her stomach. "Gonna take after your daddy right? But, maybe you'll have mommy's laugh..." She smiled to herself. "Are you found of kids, Miu? Because I'd like to introduce you to him when he's born.... If you don't mind that is. If you'd rather not, I'd understand."

"I know you're all for doing everything yourself, but can can buy some tableware pretty cheep in the city."

"Yes, an icebox. that's exactly what I was thinking." She laughed a bit at her comment about the berries giving her a little bit of a smile before turning away a bit, "Oh kids? Nah, I'm only three so I guess you could call me a... kid." She paused before brightening a bit, "I'd like to meet him one day, yes." She was just persuading herself to take the next step when money was mentioned, "Oh yes, I suppose." She was mumbling, stepping towards the forest slowly. "Have you ever heard that? A small little sound that just... throws everything into action? I have." She vaguely described it as she started to free herself of her clothing, stepping into the lake bare foot before just jumping in, a chill running up her spine as the water became alight and her body took on fur.

She started to swim up for the surface when she felt it again, something was near. She dived out of the water as best as she could with her clumsy back legs and submerged eyes that stung a bit in the murky water, dirt and mud had risen from the bottom as she just walked into it like it would become solid beneath her before, she threw herself onto the muddy shore and shook out her fur bolting into the trees on the other side. it was sudden, quick, too quick to follow. she wanted it that way, for her to stay safe with Rowan when her ears picked up on it again, a slight crunch of the snow and a small rumble beneath her, or was that her imagination?

A bear poked its noise into her camp, it didn't fear man and didn't really care much for the horse but did care when the soaking wet wolf came from above to force her teeth into it's neck, she had circled it from around the stream and across it quickly, in just a matter of moments.

Lyn'nice was slightly befuddled by the goings on. She had grasped one thing in the flurry of movement. Miu was a wolf and she had heard something or smelled something and given chase. Miu had moved with extreme speed and Lyn took it as a sign not to follow the Kelvic. But. What if she got hurt? Hurt like beyond what she could heal. She'd have to take her to Kavala, back at the Sanctuary. But no doubt Miu would be stubborn.

Something finally hit Lyn'nice, Miu was only three...In human terms, nothing more than a tot! But, she lived out in the wild and hunted for food. All Lyn'nice could do is worry and pray that the wolf would reappear safe and sound. She wished she could convince Miu to come home with her to the Sanctuary. Kelvics were common place with the twins. But she knew, Miu didn't want that. Maybe in time though she would.
