I'm game for whatever but a little short (ha...ha) on ideas at the moment.

I'm all for an evening birthday bash to watch you eat cake though, Dru! Get your little web together at Inclement Weather or something, perhaps?

Also... I like the idea of some sort of "harvest" festival/please don't let us have another famine thing. Maybe one of the later market days could be turned into something a it more festival like? 60th, 70th, 80th kinda deal?

The Moon Festival - Often associated with the rising of the harvest moon, the Moon Festival is celebrated under the guidance of Leth with families and friends enjoying cakes and sweets under the transient light of the moon god. Most Lhavitians will also often light lanterns along the city and plant small peony bushes in their garden to signify the coming harvest of crops. Sweet-smelling candles are also lit in honor of various gods.

Could we Wind Reachify this festival? Along with Riverfall's Sweets Day? We really lack holidays..

Some sort of harvest / anti-famine festival sounds like a great idea!

Instead of holding the festival on a market day though, what if we held it a little earlier in the season, and had the main festivities the day before a market? The 49th, maybe?

When it gets cold and rainy/snowy, the market starts getting held inside the Stained Glass Gallery (instead of outside in the Courtyard of the Sky), which is smaller and thus has fewer stalls; not all of the merchants are there each market day. If we said that the market on the 50th was "the last outdoor market of the year", it'd be the last opportunity until the spring that anyone has to go shopping and "stock up for the winter" while all of the markets are there at once. It's also an opportunity for merchants/artisans to flog the last of their summer stuff (discounts? an everything must go sale?).

That way, the festival on the 49th could be a "goodbye sunny weather" festival, and maybe a celebration to welcome back the people who have been living in Thunder Bay over the summer; and then the market on the 50th is a "hello snowy weather" / "winter is coming" type affair. It may not be the changing of the season as far as the watchtowers are concerned, but it is the point at which Wind Reach switches from summer mode to winter mode... and it'd be a good cut-off point so that we all know when to start writing about indoor markets instead of outdoor markets.

I'd like to think some vendors would have stalls out for the festival and music.

All I'm doing is popping in to say hey!

It's a pleasure of mine to inform you that I am officially your non-official part-time floater ST. Along with being dressed in purple, I was given the task to help you guys out until we can get you get your own personal ST! I won't be able to do all of the things that I can do in Kalinor here, but I will be helping out with grading (as I already am) and taking on modded threads for you guys. Wages, Jobs, Seasonal XP, Gnosis Threads and all that fun stuff will still be going to Mirage, but I'm here to lift a bit off of his shoulders for this city.
