Rykker took the key that she gave him glanced at the number on the tag, smiled again, and bowed his head at her. "Thank you, please don't let me keep you." He watched her move with the broom toward more dirt that needed to be swept. He also noted the advice she gave him about the two eating establishments. He walked off toward his room that would be his resting place for the next few days if he got in to Whitevine hold soon, or indefinitely if he did not. He hoped that things would go good with him. Despite his feelings towards most people as being things he didn't want to deal with much, he still would be honored to get into his mother's hold, and in essence be become part of her family. He could try to get along with them, and he hoped he got along and warmed up to most of the Vantha here despite his mixed blood, and being half Zith. So far he was starting to warm up to these people. They had treated him well so far.

He opened the door to his cabin, and looked inside. It was warm, with a fireplace, a few furnishings, and most everything you would need to get along here. He dropped his bag into the room, changed into his warmest clothes, which still wasn't warm enough really, but it was all he could do for now until he could save enough money to buy a few new things that were more conducing to this area. He then turned, opened the door and went back out to get some food at one of the establishments she had mentioned.

Gennisi appeared from behind a closed door, and approached the counter. "Well hello there miss," she said, in a quiet voice. "You need a room? For a week you say? Hmmm..." the woman muttered as she stroked her chin, trying to think of where to put the poor girl, depending on what sort of room she wanted. "Did you say whether or not you were looking for a single?" Gennisi asked, "since we have both those and doubles. The rate is one gm a day per single, and 3 gm a day for doubles. Which would you like?"

Summer 10th, 511 AV |Late Night

Mortemor could hear the sound of footsteps approaching as a wooden door to the interior of the office swung open; revealing a woman. She came to the front desk rubbing her chin and thinking of where to place the red-headed traveler. She asked if Morte needed a single room or double. “Single, please!” Mortemor chirped politely. “Shall I pay for my entire stay up front?” The Thane asked as she rolled a fat miza purse in her palm.

OOClol, I just want to get this officially done and on my Ledger. Sorry it's so lazy >.<;

"Whatever you think will be easiest for you," Gennisi replied. "Just as long as we are paid for our services before you go, we don't really mind when you do it," the woman explained, as she pulled a key out from under the counter. It was a small, slender key. It glimmered a pale, silver color in the light of the Warrens, causing its teeth to be lost in shadow. Attached to the key was a small card, with the number 25 scrawled in black ink on both ends. It was tied to the key by a thin white thread, which was pulled through the keyhole at the top of the instrument. Gennisi delicately placed the key on the counter, "here you go," she began, "cabin 25. A nice little room down the hall and to the right. You should have no problem finding it." There was a slight pause, "please do enjoy your stay," she finished with a smile.

Summer 52 of 511 AV

’Maybe I should just put the clothes on.’Alumine thought with a small sigh she yanked her shift from her pack and tied the arms around her neck like a cloak. It was cold now and some of the stares had unnerved her, she only wanted a nice rest and then in the morning she would start fresh.’Savintar Warren Office…Savintar Warren Office, where is it?’

Pausing to glance around the streets she followed the nearest travel worthy looking person ignoring their discomfort at being blatantly stalked she found her assumption to be right, landing herself at the right in front of the Inn.“Th-thank you.”

For a few moments the young woman could only stare at the
wooden structure it seemed strange to see so much would after passing through the gates.
’I will go visit the gates again tomorrow.’Pushing opening the door only enough for her head to poke in, she scanned the room before deeming it empty. Slithering the rest of her body through the door, grunting when her pack got stuck and swung the door open fully with a loud ‘bang’ she stumbled into the room. Cluthcing her pack to her chest, she glanced around to make sure she had not disturbed or angered anyone with the noise. Then pressing herself against the nearest wall Alumine waited for the master of the Sivintar Warren Office, while taking note of each exit carefully.

Mortemor wasn’t certain how long her stay would last, especially since she wanted to be completely prepared before setting out. This would be the first long journey Mortemor had ever undertaken without her father, or any support from her family. She thought for a moment and then tossed a single gold miza onto the table. “I’ll pay for my first night now, and I’ll hand in the rest before I leave town. Thank you very much miss,” Mortemor smiled warmly, and took the key that had the number 25 scrawled onto its keychain. She gave a quick and polite nod of the head, and turned to leave

Alumine:

When Gennisi heard the door slam shut, she quickly made her way from one of the cabins to the front of the Warrens. "Well, my," she exclaimed, a little breathless, "that was rather frightening, wasn't it? Slammed a little louder than usual, but I thought it had merely been the wind. Sometimes it sweeps the door open, and slams it shut again when it's ready. This crazy weather we always have..." the woman rambled before pressing her long dress down with her hands and looking at Alumine, seemingly sinking into the wall. It was as though this were the first time she truly noticed the girl. "Anyway, enough about the weather, I am assuming you are looking for something? Say a place to stay for awhile, considering where you now are... or did you need help with something else? Say a place to eat, or some sort of directions..."

OOCMight I suggest you change the color of your text? It's rather difficult on the eyes right now >.<

Staring blankly at the woman for a moment the words processed excuriatingly slow before she nodded her head jerkily. Stepping lightly away from the wall, Alumine opened her mouth to speak mildly surprised when all that came out was a sqeak at first.”Ye-yes! A place to st-stay, pl-please?” She held up two fingers to indicate how long she would stay and it was at that moment her stomach choose to make it’s infernal hunger known, “And-d f-f-food!”

Alumine:

"Does that mean you'd like a double?" Gennisi asked, as she watched the girl hold up two fingers. "Because we have those and a few singles left. Singles are one gm a day, and doubles are 3 gm a day," she explained. "And as for food, I am afraid we don't offer any here. You'd have to try the Winterflames at their Hold, or even the Red Diamond Tavern. It's not much of a walk, for either destination. Whichever you'd prefer really," she finished, as she walked behind the counter, preparing to round up a key for the girl, whenever she made her decision.

Shaking her head she once more and scurried up to the desk, fidgeting awkwardly for a few moments alumine watched the woman and then opened her mouth, feeling a little calmer when she realized the woman would not harm her. "I-I-I--I stay for-or t-two days...m-mayb-be m-m-more."Rummaging around in her bag for her coin she counted them slowly, numbers were not her strong point. Sliding the money across the table she nodded and mumbled her thanks for the information, storing the knowledge for once she was dry and settled. Finished counting the money and pleased with the amount she thrust her hand out for the key.

"Very well," Gennisi replied as she smiled at the over-eager woman warily, before she bent down and rummaged around the drawers that were attached to the counter. A few minutes later, she pulled out a small, silver key. A small white thread had been looped through the keyhole at the top. A small white card hung from the string, and was imprinted with the number 29. "Here you are dear," Gennisi whispered as she placed the key in the woman's hands. "It's down the hall and to the left, you can't miss it. Now, please do enjoy your stay," she finished, with a smile.
