Alright i'm relatively new to Mizahar and i was thinking about making a Vantha PC but i really want him to be a mage. can Vanthas learn magic like fire and lightning and stuff like that, or would i have to mix it with a human? I'd really rather not do a Vantha/ Human mix, cause that's so overdone. And would it be cool if he didn't live in a regular Vantha community and travelled the world? I'd rather get my stuff straight before i go off making an extra account.

Vantha are quite capable of learning magic. I don't think there are any races that can not learn magic; some races may not be particularly inclined to but I don't think they are unable. By fire and lightning, I assume you mean reimancy.

While the majority of Vantha live in Avanthal you are free to start your character wherever you wish.

Vantha ARE human. They are just a human subrace. Drykas, Vantha, Svefra, Inarta are all human as well. They are just called by their cultural names not usually human, but they are 100% human.
