Stitch approached the Windmount Stables, greeting the young lady outside with a bit of a different approach.
"BOO!"
Serena didn't even turn around, her eyes on two young stablehands trying to catch a frolicking pony, her dry voice the only sign that she was actually giving Stitch some attention. "Hello, Stitch. That is a rather rude way to approach a lady." Behind her, Stitch paused, stepping back with a fretful look crossing his handsome features.
"Really? This one apologizes, milady. You looked stressed, so this one was hoping to cause a little fun. This one apologizes, again." A small smile creeping across her face, Serena turned, regarding the blind orphanage owner warmly. "It is okay, Stitch. Is this about the horses you sent Damien to ask about?" Stitch nodded, yanking a large bag of Mizas from his pocket, handing them over to Serena. The young woman took them, just holding them loosely in her hand, one hand on her hip as she studied Stitch. "What do you need horses for, Stitch? Do you even know how to ride?"
Stitch shook his head, a light smile on his face.
"Not at all, milady. They are for a light ride into the Wildlands, and this one has a few companions coming with him. A few know how to ride, and this one figures he will learn." Serena eyeballed him for a bit longer, then nodded, a serious look on her face. "Be careful, Stitch. When will you be by to pick them up?" Stitch spoke readily, obviously having it all planned out.
"On the morning of the 20th, milady. This one will take them over to the Leatherworks to get them saddled, and pack some bags onto the pony. Then this one will take his leave. Thank you for your help, milady. As well as getting the horses prepared for this one." Stitch stepped away, heading back toward the home, parting with Serena by way of a wink, and a wave.
"Bye Stitch. Be careful."
