It's really big, so I'm putting a link and it and a spoiler, but this is the picture I'm making for a local military group running a charity toy... thing. xD Anyway. Text is the only thing not yet done. What do you think?

I like it, though the tan background doesn't say "Christmas" to me as much as it says "Beach day" It reminded me of the commercial of Santa's "Vacation" on the 26th of december

I like it. 'Specially the rocket powered deer. But when you make the text you should make it BIG. The speech bubble is rather small, and that's the message you want to focus on, right? :nod:

I'm so so sorry for my absence. School has been kicking my butt! It's not even the classes. It's the administration.

As I may mentioned before, I made Varsity choir. So, yay! But, my school is under entirely new management this year (Principal, 1 VP, Academic Dean, 2/3 Councilors, College Councilor, and Scheduling Adviser) and so they are making a fair few changes. One of these changes is that there are no longer any new semester schedule changes. That is, of course, unless you want to drop one of the AP classes or you are in athletics and want out. So, my request to transfer from Graphic Design (in which I have 2 credits already) into Varsity Choir. They are the same period, so none of the rest of my schedule would have been affected in the slightest. Both teachers were happy about the change (I have 2 GD periods), and were surprised that this was denied.

But, what surprised me the most, was my History teacher. He's been my teacher for the past 3 years (I actually cried when I read his letter of recommendation) and he's been helping me through all the trouble with my dad and the aftermath of that. I've helped him out by grading essays and other things when he was swamped or I had a moment of free time. He knows how much trouble I've had actually enjoying High School so... he went and spoke to the Scheduling Adviser for me.

I get to be in choir! Pardon me while I dance gleefully.

Right after that, I found out that my Councilor FORGOT to send my transcripts to my colleges. Joy! I got to sit and fill out paper work again.

My school is just... horrible. I can't wait to move to college.

My weekends are now filled with running around with my friends just trying to relax a little.

Anyway. I've been mentally exhausted. My writing muse is very much grumbling in her corner. Maybe I'll be able to coax her out soon.

Ah, that whole schedule mix up would've made me flip my lid! Stuff like that can just ruin senior year!

As far as colleges go, I'm ~~only slightly~~ sad to say I' in the same boat with you on that one. Sometimes it's like you get more stressed over filling out applications and scholarship forms than over the final exams... or maybe that's just me!

Either way, hope you'll get to/got to have fun soon! Throw an ugly Christmas sweater party!

Sorry, but that's the state I'm in.

Lost my job because I won't take back the supervisor's son.

Lost my chance at an amazing school because my high school forgot to send in my transcripts.

I'm done. >.>

I don't know where you work but you can find the corporate offices of national chains and report the supervisor, he will have to provide proof as to why he fired you, I.E. lateness, shoddy work etc . No proof they will reprimand him and give you your job back to avoid a lawsuit.

If its a mom and pop chain then get a lawyer. That crap bugs the crap out of me because it sets women back about 50 years, and hurts everyone not just you. I am so sorry that this happened to you. *hugs*

I hear 'being a god' is an impressive reason to consider a late college transcript.

Ugh I totally feel you on the transcripts. I sent in everything on my end weeks before one of my friends did. She got all her letters back from where she had applied while I hadn't heard a word. Later I came to know it was because guidance hadn't sent my transcripts ANYWHERE. Finally they did, but had I tried for early action at a school with a close deadline, I would've been really screwed. Maybe you can transfer into your dream school next year if nothing else, right?

As for the store? That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. What an idiot. I hope if not you, someone gets him for offing an employee like that, forget the fact what he did wasn't legal. If you work half as hard there as you do here, he's absolutely going to be feeling his loss quickly. Hopefully this just gave you an opportunity to pursue a brighter path.

Sorry your week wasn't too great. I hope the holidays bring you far better karma that you deserve.
