It was the wicked grin that sprouted across her face. She tossed the gloves to one side, shortly followed by the training jacket to the ground behind them, but she continued to stand there, stretching and silently regarding him. There was a smile, and a distinct point in her direction as he laid down her judgement upon her. Her back straightened, her lips pursing slightly as she gave him a frown, hands resting in her pockets.
“Your words wound me,” she gave a sigh and walked behind his back, whilst her neck clicked, “Accusing me of such childish antics. For shame.”

Markus’ was correct however. She leaned down behind him, her chin resting above his head, her hands planting themselves on his shoulders. There was still however that sly smile and glint of mischief around her, something she had yet to shake off. She gave a look down to him, lip curling her knees bending slightly.

“Of course, the idea is quite appealing,” She gave a snort and gestured down to the water below, a raise of her eyebrows as she peered over, “So, I guess that you don’t fancy going in for a dip then? Now that’s no fun,” Pulling away the squire took several steps back, hands once more returning to her pockets whilst she shook her head, “More so as you seemed to slightly like the idea only a few chimes ago.” Exhaling she looked over his head and past him to the scene beyond, letting him find time to fall into a false sense of security. Her eyes fell down onto him once more, boring in deeply into him. Her foot rose, her weight shifting onto her back leg as she continued to study him carefully. A firm foot went towards him, gently hovering above his back before she thrusted it forward, “Let me know what the water is like!”

The foot went out; going forth to give him a firm shove towards the water. Or at least that was what she had planned and conspired to do. Never the less if it appeared he was starting to struggle in the depths of it she assured herself to make a descent to it with some form of speed. Without laughing that was. His wrath as a knight however she would be sure to deal with later, but as he said, this was a date. And he had surprised her with it and thrown her into the social deep end. What was wrong with a little revenge?

“Have a nice dip!”

[Sacred Arch Hotspring] What are we calling this again?

Postby Markus Andres on September 24th, 2013, 9:52 pm

The thing Markus noticed when she had removed the gloves was the tattoo on her hand. No. Not tattoo, he recognized that mark. Of course he did. Any knight who didn't recognize the mark ought to be expelled from the order. But the mischief in her eyes Markus looked at her with a raised brow when she responded to his accusation. Did not buy what she said one bit. Yet he did not turn to follow her as she moved around him, for she had gotten quite close to him. Resting against him and unfortunately his hormonal run brain overruled any sense of self-preservation.

"Not without you, prefer we both take a dip." Was his response to her highly suspicious words. Markus could not tell if she were merely joking or not. The neck hair raised and he felt the discomfortability of having someone you don't really know linger behind your back. Not sure what their plans are. But despite all that, sitting there with her arms on him was enough of a comfort to weigh against the discomfort of her plans. He could sit there silently with her for bells and just enjoy each other company. Then her words broke the silence and Markus felt himself fall.

There were those dreams where you fell gracefully through the air. Floating almost gently down through the clouds and despite the terrifying aspect of hitting the ground, you're calm. Everything will be just right, you will land safely on the ground as if nothing had happened. For Markus, this was not like that. For him this was the jerk you felt just before you dreamt you had fallen over the edge of something - this was a rush as muscles tensed and the pre-adrenaline spike rushed through his system giving him a small kick. Replacing parts of the terror with enjoyment. His eyes closed shut moment before he touched the water. Luckily he hit the water face first, so it broke his fall substantially. Unfortunately, he had not closed his mouth as a half-strangled petch had escaped his lips. His mouth was quickly filled with water, adding to the panic of the young knight who since Sahova had not liked water. He had seen too many knight fall into the water never to be seen again as the heavy armour dragged them below.

Markus' legs kicked out, one kicking the bottom of the lake. Okay, it wasn't so deep where he had 'fallen' in. That he did not register right away. He kicked with arms and legs. Managed somehow to get his head above water. Water was spat out and he continued to struggle. Both legs touching the bottom. He was safe. Safe. Safe. Powerful arms still splashed about. Keeping him above water as he sent huge waves of water around and cascading streams of water out around him. Somewhere below him, a fish was fleeing from the mammal terrified.

"Help!" Markus' head dipped below again and he saw the fish swim away and he also saw that both his feet were practically on the bottom. This calmed his panicking mind tremendously. He could let himself fall down and then jump further inshore. That was if he wasn't a bastard and in desire of some sort of retribution on Fallon. He had already asked for help, no more shame in continuing the drama and pretend that he was in peril. He surfaced again. No more controlled than last time, arms flailing and legs kicking. Sending him in useless spirals. He was not far from the shore, perhaps a foot out of his own arm's reach. Lure her down to the water's edge. Have her lean out to grab his arm... Pull her in the water the moment he touched the shore with his other hand for added support. - Vengeance had been gotten.

Tactic was simple - Question was: Would Fallon fall for it?

[Sacred Arch Hotspring] What are we calling this again?

It was the squeal from the Knight that caused her to burst out into laughter. There was the loud splash, the free fall of horror as Markus landed into the water below. She gave a glance, brow lifting slightly as she looked down upon him from the safety of the dry land. There he was, floundering about the few fish in the water fleeing as he spun. She rocked on her haunches . She gave a sigh, rocking on her heels with her eyes staring down at him.

How ridiculous he looked. And it was all her doing.

Fallon only gave a small wave to him, followed by a flicker of a smile. It was a strangely satisfying feeling, one that she could not quite put a finger on. She watched the giant of a man splash about. He would be fine, she knew that. For a while she simply stood there, observing and watching, even occasionally leaning in for a better view.

With slow steps she made her way down, eyes tracing the ground before she stopped and perched at the edge. From there she simply watched, amused at his attempts to get closer to the shoreline. As he did though, she heard the distinct call from him once more, his hand splayed out and open as if trying to reach for the shore. Or her. She could not decide on which exactly. Resting her chin in her palm, and her head cocking to one side she watched him creep closer. She simply shook it, “Come on then! Just a little further. Then you can tell me all about your dip.”

There the squire, laying herself down and resting her elbows on the edge. She inclined a finger, a cock of the head suggesting he came closer. And it was there she would wait, a hand swishing back and forth in the water as he continued his flailing about. She was not about to risk the idea of trying to pull him out, he would most probably end up pulling her in too – accident or otherwise. And when he did eventually make his way to the shoreline, she would be there waiting with a devious look upon her face.

He meant no harm, she knew that. His intentions for simply getting to know her was clear. And for that she was grateful. It was unusual to see one being honest in the world nowadays, refreshing almost to the senses. Eyes traced the wet hair that had plastered to his face. She gave a faint blush, her eyes looking down to his soaked form. The squire gave him a tap on the nose, then traced the same finger around to the chin with a careful thought, “I think I’ll pass on the dip myself.”

And for a long chime she hovered there, staring deeply, her lip curling almost. She was at a loss on what to do, even as she leaned in gradually closer the green and blue orbs staring right in. In a flash however there was an impulse, a quick move to peck him on the forehead and then hastily withdrew, laughing all the while, “You’re an awfully wet knight.”

[Sacred Arch Hotspring] What are we calling this again?

Postby Markus Andres on October 7th, 2013, 6:02 pm

The young lady did not bite. She lay there, arms against the edge just observing the knight as he splashed about in the water. Lying peaceful with a hand playfully splashing in the water. No. She definitely wasn't about to fall for his little trick. It annoyed him a little. His splashing about became a little more coordinated and he made headway towards the shore. The knight was a terrible swimmer, so the movements were far from elegant. He reached out and pulled himself closer to the shore when in reach. Both elbows resting against the edge and looking up at the squire. For some reason, he enjoyed that devious look on her face. He couldn't be angry at her, she just carried through with what he had been too worried about the repercussions to do. Still. He felt an almost insatiable need to splash a gallon of water in her face, but that devious look on her face. Almost an invitation to do it, but he relented. Would be a petty act of vengeance. Markus was too magnanimous for such things.

"Aww, that's a shame. Nothing to liven up a date like a fresh dip... That and the terror of a sudden free fall." Markus shrugged a little as a happy smile appeared on his lips, looking into those deep blue and green eyes of hers. She leant closer to him and the smile froze a little as his heartbeat began to race. Were they- Was she about to? Wet lips touched against his forehead and like a little page Markus' cheeks burned red with a fierce blush. The now shy smile widened on his lips. Her joyous laughter with just the hint of mischief that Markus so enjoyed deepened the blush. Her lips moved. The laughter replaced with words. Playful words. Reminding him of her depraved act of making a knight soaking wet. A laughter escaped his lips.

Markus' huge arms would bulge as he pulled his hulking wet form out of the water. Water dripping from just about everywhere as his feet touched solid ground again. It felt good to be out of the water, felt even better to have solid ground under him. The water had not been terrible, if he had been given the time to go in at his own leisure of pace. Standing there, offering the squire a hand to pull her up. "I brought food and I am getting a tad hungry." Should the squire not have caught his less than noble intentions and decided to take his hand. He would be a noble knight and help her to her feet. "You look a bit hot though..." Markus' arms would immediately embrace the squire's smaller frame and pull her in close and really rub the wet clothes against her. "Don't you feel a lot more refreshed now?" Markus asked innocently looking down at the squire as she struggled to escape his grasp. He would release her and gesture in the direction of the food.

"Let's go get dry before you decide to drop me into the lake again. Syna will dry us soon enough." Markus said as he casually took off his shirt. It was getting yucky and sticking to his torso. He hated the sensation of wet clothes sticking to the body when you moved about. The tingling suction. Plus, he had a decent reason to take off his shirt and show Fallon his physique.

[Sacred Arch Hotspring] What are we calling this again?

Fallon continued to laze where she was, her chin propped in her hand, the other lazily turning the water round by her finger tips tracing the surface. Even as he pulled himself out she continued to watch, waiting patiently as she eyed him up. Clothes plastered against him she forced herself to look away, his hand however was taken and so she was lead into his trap. Arms wrapped around, holding her in place whilst she squirmed and struggled. There was a glare, eyes narrowing down upon him as the damp clung to her. She pulled away with a huff, hands patting at the patches.

“Son of a…” she shook her head as she pulled away. There was no real look of opinion as he removed his shirt, or more over it seemed as if she was no real interest at all. A twitch of the lip, the same look she was wearing a few chimes before when he decided to wrap himself around her. There was a sigh, “No. I don’t feel refreshed.” There was little regard for his physique. Other than it being male and suddenly being exposed. It was not something that impressed her to say the least. After all, what was the point in being shaped in such a way if you could do nothing worthwhile with it?

Without much else the squire simply rolled up her sleeves, the pale skin being exposed to the sunlight. He had not angered her, but he had succeeded in making her feel slightly uncomfortable in her own layers. And in no way was she about to follow suit in drying herself off. Besides, she had been trapped in soaking wet clothes before – and that was in a much worse situation. Following his gesture she went over to it, with only a quick glance to him as she eased herself down. There was a scratch at her shirt, and at the top button – why for the love of the Gods did he have to touch her? Petty revenge no doubt. Obviously, knights were not as well behaved as they made out to be – or perhaps this one had a distinct childish side in him. She gave a lean, looking towards the water once more, the expression relaxing to one of thought.

She gave a click, an eye turning round to face him before a small smirk appeared. He tried, she could not knock that. Now she had to see what he really wanted from her, “So. How’s drying going for you?”

[Sacred Arch Hotspring] What are we calling this again?

Postby Markus Andres on October 28th, 2013, 4:45 pm

The look on her face, not angry, which worried him. If she had been angry he had succeeded, but she just looked. Uncomfortable? That was not what he had hoped at all. Perhaps worse than that, there was absolutely no reaction to his muscular frame - Had he found a girl who showed no interest in the exterior of a man? That alone intrigued him, most women would look at his upper body and be amazed with his strength, but not Fallon. It brought an intrigued smirk to his lips as he followed her. Pants sticking to his legs and that bothered him more than anything. But he was not about to drop his pants as well for Fallon, that might be taking it a step too far. He had no problems with people seeing him naked, but they might be a bit too virginal for such an appearance.

Still, he sat down and spread his shirt out on the grass. Let Syna hit as large an area as possible before he leant back and rested on his elbows. A shiver once in a while made its way through his body as Syna slowly warmed his body. Best would be if he could get the wet pants off as well, but still - Not on the first date and it didn't look like Fallon was particularly interested in such actions at the moment. His surprise wet hug seemed to have put a damper on her mood.

"Well, that's a question I haven't heard before..." Markus responded surprised. "I think I'm doing okay drying wise- or Syna is doing a good job, I mean." Markus smiled a little. "I hope I didn't overstep my boundaries by hugging you." Markus said, voicing his worries out loud. For the squire was getting very interesting and Markus wouldn't mind spending a few bells more getting to know her better. But for that, he felt he had to dispel the damper of mood that he may have put between them.

Uncomfortable would be one way to describe it, but she did not push or play upon it. There was no point to it after all. Fallon gave a shudder, eying him carefully on occasion. Her expression changed between several emotions, brow raising and sometimes creasing before once more settling onto one of calm. And although she looked at him she was not exactly paying attention to his form. No doubt to his dismay. Her tongue licked her lips, listening to his surprised tone. She gave a blink towards the sun, arms stretching out as she reclined back onto the grass. She was not one for the summer sun or the heat it brought, but this was pleasant enough – for now at least.

Even if he was slightly surprised by her mannerisms. What did he expect? Her to swoon over him at the first moment?

She changed the air in her lungs, musing over his words for a few chimes, before finally clearing her throat. Her tone low, but soft as she carefully chose her words. “I’m fine. Just not use to people coming into the personal space unless it’s with a blade or dagger or something… deadly. You know?” she shook her head and released a sigh. She gave herself a twist and propped herself up onto her elbow. She gave him a long scrutinizing gaze, before a smirk broke out upon her face; ”Anyway, enough of that. Now where’s this food you were on about? I don’t know about you, but I’m starting to get hungry.”
