The woman smoothed over the awkwardness regarding her extra arms with a tactful finesse of someone used to the treatment. The sudden spark of guilt for drawing attention to it was unusual and unwanted for the Svefra and Teresa quickly swallowed the emotions. That would only make things worse.

Instead Rosela grasped her hand in a cheerful camaraderie with two of her own and the Svefra could do nothing but give a light laugh back, pleased with how she took it. Offering her name and advice on the appropriate colors with an easy fluid speech.

“The pleasures all mine Rosela” She gave a smile and a quick shake to show her honesty before quickly swiveling in her seat to address the Akalak “And I do agree, I think that our friend Radovan would look positively fabulous in sparkles, and the blue would really bring out that exotic skin color.” She quipped, a goodhearted chuckle accompanying the nod towards Radovan’s introduction. With a quick turn back in her seat to nod enthusiastically to Rosela’s suggestions she cleared her counter space, excited to get this going, and immediately looked for a product that would fit. She ran her hands over the array of powders laid out before them and picked out a cheerful blue, something natural and dark was not really what she had in mind with the bright festive atmosphere. She picked up a thick soft brush and applied a liberal amount of blue to the end before taking a sweep across her eyes, the effect was more dramatic than she expected, and her lips twisted in the reflection on the mirror. She plucked a tissue from the table and immediately started to scrub it off, she wanted to look like a desirable woman not a circus prop. she was about to give her second try when Radovan unexpectedly took up the offer to be the color tester.

The shirt slid off his considerable bulk and Teresa resisted the urge to gawk at the impressive muscles. It honestly looked like he was putting on a show for them, the way he took his time with the buttons and eased it off his shoulders. It was a tease, or perhaps a shock factor he was going for. A sly smile crept its way into her features as she prepared to play this game, she could tease with the best of them.

“I just want to point out that I managed to talk your shirt off with my opening line.”

Teresa adjusted her spot at the table, lounging with one elbow propped up on the counter and crossing her legs as she regarded the Alakak with a narrowed, mischievous look. Her voice adding a smug tone of a superior and her lips curled up at the edges, trying her hardest to portray power to a man who could quite easily break her in half if he had the mind to.

“And I will bet for every bead you have left that I can talk every other garment off by the end of the day.”

She studied his face for a reaction, hoping for some sort of unease or surprise as she turned the tables on him.

But at the mention of a ‘new friend’, while Rosela was making eyes and the now shirtless Akalak, Teresa was the only one looking around like a complete dolt, confused as to who she could mean. While it was explained at length prior to her trip that the Akalak were unpredictable and had aggressive mood swings, no one had mentioned that the cause was two separate souls residing in one body.

OOC INFOWord play FTW! She asked for every bead you have left, which is none. So if you would like you could continue to lead them along. :P

[Beautyfest] Makeup Stalls

Postby Radovan on October 11th, 2013, 12:20 am

The Eypharian had not seemed to know exactly what to make of Radovan’s insect comment, and had quickly turned her attention to the fair haired newcomer as the other girl sat next to her. But as Teresa made her saucy little jest about applying some of the make up to the jade hued Akalak, Rosela, as she had introduced herself to the other girl, took the opportunity to join in the fun of teasing him about being dabbed with colored powder and tiny glittering specs of crystal. Yet when Jozef stepped to the fore, inwardly taking the reins of the dual natured being, she threw him an appraising look. To her comment, which was only half a question, he made no immediate reply, but instead, returned her gaze with a pointed one of his own, as much to say that he, at least, understood exactly what she was suggesting, though he did not feel inclined to answer her directly.

”Pleasure? I suppose that depends on what you find pleasing.” he finally said, his fingers having paused in their task.

He had his shirt unbuttoned by this point , and he paused a moment longer, before then continuing to slide it from his body.

At some point during this, a hugely pregnant Konti waddled in and took a seat along the counter. Jozef’s eyes went covetously to her, for she was indeed the ultimate prize here. A Konti, like his mother, who could bear healthy sons and daughters easily, and whose life would not wither and fade while he himself barely aged. But in her state, it was clear to all that she belonged to some other, though not necessarily an Akalak. So his gaze passed beyond her. She was unapproachable, unattainable for the diversions he sought. As if a manifestation of his thoughts, though twisted in a more upright fashion, another Akalak entered the stall, bestowing upon her a string of shining beads, and a paeon of praise to her matriarchal fecundity. Yet another joined them, one who looked human, though he could not have said for sure. The two women seemed acquainted with one another and began a conversation that Jozef had no interest in. His gaze came back to the Eypharian, and Teresa, who by the spread of her hand, which displayed slight webbing between her fingers, he took for one of the sea faring folk. These two were conversing too, about the make up choices, and then the Svefra’s light eyes came back to him, and they widened to see that he had removed his shirt. She gave him a saucy smile, and teased,

“I just want to point out that I managed to talk your shirt off with my opening line.”

What a bold woman. Jozef quite liked that. He smiled back at her.

“I guess that just goes to show how talented you are…with your mouth…” he said, with a direct look.

She seemed well able to play this game, for she came right back with, “And I will bet for every bead you have left that I can talk every other garment off by the end of the day.”

Jozef tilted his head ever so slightly to the side as if considering her proposal.”That’s a bet I can not lose, even if you win,” he smirked. ”For I can think of far worse debts to pay than being naked, with you, at the end of the day.”

He looked away briefly, then turned back to her, thoughtfully biting at his lower lip, then added, ”But perhaps we could sweeten the pot.” His eyebrows lifted, as if seeking her opinion on this idea of a counter=proposal.

”We could agree to even the odds, and make this more of a mutual wager. He shrugged. ”Say… if by the end of the day these beads are not in your possession, then you will be the one without clothes. He jiggled the three colorful strands a tiny bit, for emphasis.

”What do you say? Agreed?” He gave her a look that, if not exactly challenging, was at the very least…provocative.

Within moments, the pleasant feeling Rosela had gained about her two stallmates had all but shriveled up into bitter irritation. Radovan, good looking as he was, seemed to have made his choice and was essentially ignoring her in favor of the brazen blonde woman. Rosela had become a very obvious third wheel while the two seemed a sidestep away from dry-humping in the middle of the street. It was so...uncouth.

She refused to acknowledge the pit of hot, angry jealousy forming in her stomach, and instead firmly told herself she was too highborn for that kind of behavior. What kind of a woman jumped on a man she barely knew, much less for beads?

Keeping her face a familiar, but firm, mask of professionalism, she turned back to the makeup pots, glancing at the mirror to be sure her face wasn't sour. The faster she could extricate herself from this little disaster, the better. Still, with his sweetening of the pot', he could just give the beads to Rosela and then the pair could go at it to their heart's content... But it sounded a sad and desperate proposal, even in her own mind. The best she felt she could do was attempt, or at least pretend, to tune out the new lovers' conversation.

Lowering her lashes, she ran the brush with the dark red powder quickly over the outer corners of her eyelids, then extended it out to a tapered cloud next to the eye, finally bringing it downwards with circular motions to just above her cheek bone. With short motions, she blended the dark red into her eye crease and across the middle of her eye with the lighter red, then moved to repeat the same motions on the other side. A few extra swipes evened everything up, and a hand reached out for the shimmer dust as she fluttered the brush again over her wrist to clean it.

The shimmer was quick, and over in just a few flicks of the wrist. Curving a hand in front of her face, she blew into it, sending her breath puffing against her right eye to dislodge some of the extra shimmer that had come out uneven. Turning her face this way and that, making sure it was even, she finally put down the brush. She'd practiced this particular look extensively the day before, a variation on her wedding makeup from so many years ago. Had they been in Ahantep, the city would have never dared put up a free makeup stall; supplies would have been completely drained by the end of the day. Movement to her other side caught her eye and she realized suddenly what Radovan had been looking at - a very pregnant Kavala. Perhaps she'd migrate over there when she was done. The couple at her other side were likely to be getting dirty any moment now. Comfortingly, she wished bad sex on them both, and wondered if she could get the shadows to make sure it happened.

Her fingers pulled over one of the many jars of khol, and picked up a much thinner brush. If there was any place to mess up, it would be on the liner. She wasn't using her own brush now, and felt distinctly that she couldn't trust this one. With slow, careful sweeps, she began to rim her eye, moving outwards into a large, ornate swirl to the side of her eye that branched into several smaller swirls. The lines weren't as even as she would have liked, and she took an extra chime to go over them again.

Peppering more khol onto the brush, she glanced back at the lovers, hoping Teresa's makeup had gone horribly wrong while somehow managing to make Radovan look ridiculous as well.

[Beautyfest] Makeup Stalls

Postby Caelum on October 11th, 2013, 1:55 pm

The Beautyfest, Caelum decided, was a nightmare.

There were too many people filled with too many desires. It was enough to drive a man mad. By the time the makeup stall was within sight, he was a tangle of discord. It had taken him nearly three hours to arrive, and that was not for having set out late. Rather it was for having been delayed, derailed, and generally held up by three separate strangers he had bumped into.

He had spent an hour slumped against a wall by a sailor drunk in the sunlight, trading tales of the sea. The man had needed a sympathetic ear and, ultimately, a waterskin to wet a throat parched by wine and and sorrowful words. Caelum had watched the bright eyed matron, a seamstress past her childbearing years, scold the sailor and fallen into the role of go-between. By the time he made his escape, they were laughing, intimate and relieved. A seed of hope was planted.

Another long while had been stolen when Caelum caught the arm of a young Akalak about Tasival’s age or perhaps a touch younger. He swung the boy up and out of the way of a stampede of older children spilling after each other in a mad dash, lost in whatever mischief and mystery occupied the terribly young. Blinking into the bright eyes of the child, he picked up on simmering anxiety circulating around the fact that he had forgotten where he was supposed to meet his mother. Well, there was nothing then but to locate the boy’s parents, was there? Caelum found out all about fishing, a bird named, fittingly, Birdie, and the boy’s favorite food (bread with butter and honey spread on it) during their time together.

It was the boy’s Nakivak mother, however, that shook Caelum the most. Listening to the strain in her words, watching the fine lines at the corner of her mouth, he listened to the rustle and hush of ranuri through him and managed to ask the right question. Or the wrong question. It depended on who was listening. Things spilled out of the woman in a hot rush and Caelum’s expression grew more and more grim.

There was little he could do, or at least little he could do at the moment; but he did what small things he could, including buying treats for the boy and leaving the warmth of a lingering and genuinely empathetic kiss to the woman’s cheek. It held the weight of a promise.

Stepping out of the fringes of the crowd and beneath the sunlit awning of the makeup stall, Caelum drew to a halt by the chairs Kavala and Sybel occupied. His hands were caught in the pockets of worn leather trousers and the sun exalted in him, from golden eyes to the burnished crimson autumn had begun to streak through his hair. He wore a black leather vest, worn soft, and had not actually thought to try and dress better than he usually did around the Sanctuary for this event. Frankly, he needed to buy new clothes soon. Everything he had was beginning to look a little too well weathered. Despite this, between Syna’s kiss and the almost unholy sheen of allure Nikali’s chains imbued him with, he was rather difficult to miss.

“This is madness,” he hissed down at Kavala and Sybel, two of his very few friends in this city. He looked at them like he rather hoped they might save him from some obscene fate. “You are clearly the loveliest women in Riverfall. Can we go home now?”

It was almost funny.

[Beautyfest] Makeup Stalls

Postby Radovan on October 13th, 2013, 5:08 pm

Just as Jozef had made his daring proposal, a Konti woman who had been back behind the stall counter and up to that point outside of Jozef’s line of vision stepped from behind the counter. With a purposeful gait and a piercing look, she approached the green Akalak. She knew full well which of the brothers was directing this little game, for she was his mother.

“Son,” she greeted him, touching his arm to better get his attention. Her eyes dropped to the beads he held and she asked pointedly, “Why, I thought you had given your beads away already? To your friend. Who do these belong to?”

Jozef had stooped down low to receive the petite woman’s kiss to his cheek. With a bit of frustration, he admitted, “These belong to my absent minded brother. He left them with me a while ago, and I’m looking for him now, to return them.” He now kept his slightly sheepish gaze from both the Eypharian and the Svefra women that he had clearly been inclined to deceive into thinking he had rightful possession of the necklaces.

His mother nodded, a knowing look in her eye. “I see,” she said, her voice neutral. “Well, perhaps you had best come with me, and together we will make sure he gets them back. You certainly wouldn’t want anyone thinking they were yours.”

Jozef glared and then there was the most subtle shift in expression, and it became truly abashed.

“Of course not, mother,” Radovan said apologetically. “I was hoping you might have seen him. Let’s go look for him, shall we?”

The Konti slipped her arm through his, and he gave the most cursory nod to no-one in particular, before he led his mother from under the awning.

[Beautyfest] Makeup Stalls

Postby Kavala on October 13th, 2013, 5:48 pm

At the sound of the male's voice, Kavala glanced back over her shoulder and then swiveled. The woman working on her makeup made an odd noise of protest, but Kavala held up her hand a moment in apology. The darkness behind her was a man, with skin so deep toned that she at first thought he was black. But then a streak of sunlight played across his face briefly and she noted the deep sheen of green in his pigmentation. Her lips formed an O for a moment, and then she smiled. "I'm sorry. Your coloring startled me. I've never seen one of your brothers so dark. Your skin tone is very striking." Kavala answered in Tukant. Her accent was tinged with the Sea of Grass and she followed the words with the pavi gesture for appreciation unconsciously.

She lifted her hands to accept the blue beads and smiled gratefully. "Thank you. I do feel rather like a marvel sometimes, getting up, getting down, catching glimpses of my feet. Thank you for these. My name is Kavala Denusk. I had planned to give my own away to other ladies today, but this strand I will keep because it will remind me why we do this for your people. The child I carry is Raris Dovukalis' and I do not think he is one to be insecure by someone being sincere. This will be his first son or daughter that I have the great honor of giving him. I hope you yourself have found a Konti who feels likewise. And if that is not so, then I wish you great alacrity in finding one. But make it a love match, sir. For everything runs a whole lot smoother." She said, laughing slightly as she ran her hand protectively down her stomach.

Sybel came whirling in at that moment and chose to plop down on the seat beside Kavala. Kavala grinned at her and then turned to the dark skinned Akalak to make introductions.

"This is Sybel, my soon to be sister in law. She is marrying my brother. I'm afraid we don't have the pleasure of your name, Sir... or I'd introduce you. I'd like to know it, for there are several Konti working at my facility that you might be interested in meeting today. If they are here, maybe I can even talk them into a dance or two with you. I'd offer you a dance myself, but you'd have to have several friends to get me on my feet and keep me there these days just for a dance. And you appear to be alone." Kavala smiled at the stranger then grinned at Sybel, and then widened her eyes as she noticed the dress her friend was wearing.

"That's the most gorgeous color, Sybel. Perfect on you. Did Rosela make it? She's over there with..." Kavala frowned, having been keeping an eye on the trio that Rosela was a part of. The Akalak and the human seemed to be... Kavala blinked, looked again, and shook her head. "Poor Rosela. Are those two basically..... in front of her?" Kavala asked, then shook her head. If it wasn't a challenge to get to her feet, she'd have marched over there and extracted Rosela immediately.

Kavala glanced back at Sybel. She smiled as a makeup artist was already going to work on her. "Tasival is at home with Larik. He wanted to learn a few tips on his bow. Larik is no where near the festival. Girls are rather disgusting creatures to him right now." Kavala said, then glanced at the dark-skinned Akalak still standing near.

"Tasival is my son. He's four now. He is fatherless because I was a Nakivak under contract when he was conceived and his sire died before he was born. Larik is my brother's kelvic son, a hawk, and together they get into a great deal of mischief. Larik's two. So they are at an interesting age, both of them, together." Kavala smiled. "And Sybel here, she's been brewing like crazy. I can't wait to try some of her vintages ... is that the right word Sybel.. when they age enough?" Kavala said, trying to draw all three of them into a conversation as a group.

When Caelum showed up, Kavala looked relieved and turned to him. She laughed at his comment about going home, though she suspected he was a hundred precent serious. He always had a habit of making himself useful and showing up right at the best moment possible, even if it was often at his determent. And if his gift was in any way shape or form, he'd feel Kavala's need immediately... possibly only superseded by the one Rosela was giving off if he was close enough to sense it. Kavala gently looped the blue beads in her hand over her neck, and selected a pair of deep red ones that would look good on Rosela.

"Hi Caleum. Impeccable timing. Can you please... for all that's holy... go take these over to that gorgeous multiple armed woman over there and offer them to her if she'll come grace us with her company? She has a gentleman and a lady that seem to be ignoring the fact that she's right there attempting to copulate across her lap it seems. I swear I will take all your rounds in the morning and give you the whole day off if you go save her from their embarrassing display." Kavala said, offering the beads to Caelum and hoping with all that was decent he'd go save her acquiescence from what looked like social suicide.

She turned to the dark skinned Akalak. "I'll give you my second set for her if you go wingman for him to do so. By Eyris' wisdom, that must be so awkward for Rosela. She makes some of the best clothing in the city. If you slip her a set of these, she won't soon forget you did and might give you a really good deal or at least fit you in some leathers that will be functional and fashionable." Kavala said, selecting a yellow set of beads to offer the stranger to help Rosela out. She'd introduce the two men once they returned, hopefully with Rosela in tow... if she had managed to talk them into doing so.

Bead CountStarting 2/3 given away, one blue set accepted for a total of two strands.

[Beautyfest] Makeup Stalls

Postby Favchean Hronis on October 13th, 2013, 9:16 pm

Favchean smiles even brighter when she accepts his beads, his body straightening once more. His gaze takes in the room briefly, noting the Eypharian woman and sliding over the two near her. He found the display a bit undue but it was not long before the other Akalak with green skin, though no where near as dark as Favchean's was escorted away by another woman. Though his eyes roamed for the briefest of moments, his attention was still firmly upon the pregnant beauty in front of him.

"Raris Dovukalis has indeed been smiled upon by Wysar, and I do hope that in the future I am smiled upon as well. My father married his Konti lover, and I have no intention of anything less." The black-green Akalak turned as another lady joined, his neck bending in greeting to her as well. "Favchean Hronis, a good day to you Sybel. Congratulations are in order then on your soon-to-be vows?"

One brow raises though as he casts his attention back to Kavala, and if it were not for his dark skin tone then a blush surely would have risen at her offer. "I am getting to the age where my father makes noises, and my mother ...is more vocal about my finding a nice woman to settle down with. However Wysar and Akajia will provide in time, be it through your establishment or another."

Hearing her speak of her son, and the circumstances surrounding his birth, Favchean does not change his expression which remains interested and concerned however inside he sighed gently. Understanding the need for the Nakivak and embracing it was two different things. However he also understood that rapidly the years were falling fast that if he did not find a nice woman to settle down with, and nothing less then a Konti would do for Favchean sense of responsibility, then a Nakivak would be the answer. "Tasival is a strong name, I am saddened at the misfortune of his sire's death." This was an understatement for Akalak sons can be notoriously ...a handful. "I hope that you have been provided with everything that you will need for rearing of an Akalak?"

Favchean greets the man who speaks to Kavala with a nod of the head, curiosity peaked at the man's appearance. If his dark brother was in control then Favchean might have made comment but instead he simply greeted him silently, smiling at his words. It seemed that there were no shortage of men feeling a bit..overwhelmed by the beautyfest. "There is no need to offer beads, I am acquainted with Rosela, from a..dagger training session." A knowing smile crosses his lips, and he raises his last set of beads. "Nothing short of coming home empty handed of beads will keep my mother happy. I shall return." His voice gravelly on the best of days, but now a low grumble as he attempts to not drown out the ambient noises when he speaks.

He quirks a brow to Caelum, extending one corded arm in front, "After you." He said with a grin, wondering if Caelum has had the unique experience that is meeting Rosela.

[Beautyfest] Makeup Stalls

Postby Caelum on October 16th, 2013, 3:48 pm

“For all that’s holy, Kavala,” Caelum echoed Kavala in a low, amused drawl, following the direction of his friend’s request to soak in the sight of the stunning Eypharian. “You do have an eye, don’t you? I’ll let you take my rounds, with thanks.”

Faint humor lightened the line of his mouth and he acquiesced with an absent pat to Kavala’s shoulder before he collected up the string of deep red beads she offered him. Kavala desired no beads from him, but he stepped around her chair to pause by Sybel and deliver a bold grin down to her. A shimmering strand of black beads was tugged from his pocket and strung out between his fingers in offer to the Benshira.

“You can kiss me for them later,” he teased her. “But only if you think Vanator won’t deck me for it. Not that it wouldn’t be worth it.”

After Sybel accepted his beads and their exchange was concluded, Caelum nodded bemusedly to Favchean at the Akalak’s gesture and proceeded him around the edges of the makeup stall toward Rosela. “Don’t desert me, mate,” he muttered to Favchean out of the corner of his mouth, at least half joking with the sense of men probably needing to band together today in order to survive it.

“Rosela, isn’t it?” Caelum’s question came to the Eypharian as he halted nearby, worrying the red beads Kavala had given him between his fingers as if they were prayer beads instead. When Rosela looked up, he smiled loose and easy at her, lean shoulders slumping comfortably. He tilted his head in the general direction of his Sanctuary friends. “I’m Caelum, a friend of Kavala’s. I want to offer you these –“ He held up the red beads. They glittered in the sunlight. “In the hope that you’ll consider joining us.”

Not so long ago, Caelum could hardly string enough courteous words together to form a sentence; but whatever all he had undergone since the last time he had come to Riverfall had changed him. It was easier now for him to be gracious, to be kind.

"By Nysel, she wields daggers with all those arms?" Kavala's lips curved into a good natured smile and she almost outright laughed. She should have guessed the exotic woman already had a way to defend herself. The Konti had noted the mark of citizenship on her wrist as well. "That would be something to see, something indeed." Kavala said, smiling up at Favchean and nodding when he declined her beads for Rosela. She reached over and looped them around Sybel's neck instead, kissing her soon-to-be sister in law on the cheek. I will pass them to Sybel then. If I did not, my brother would skin me for having such poor taste." Kavala said, laughing at the glint in her friend's eye.

"Favchean, you should visit us at The Sanctuary. We are rife with single Konti women and everyone around us seems to get attached to each other. There can be nothing lost in the visit, and perhaps maybe something gained." The Konti said before the two men walked off.

She was a little surprised that Caelum agreed so readily. He kept to himself and was about as introverted as a clam holed up in its shell waiting for the tide to come back in. Only Caelum's tide was Syna and his love for her and his longing for her was often tangible. Even watching him walk around the makeup stalls, he seemed to gather glittering sunlight to him as if the beams themselves couldn't bear to be parted. She sighed. He was so beautiful, and beautifully unconscious of it. Her heart belonged to an Akakal but that didn't mean her eyes couldn't appreciate the beauty Caelum wore like like a cloak around him. Nobility was long gone from Mizahar, but watching the other healer stride away, Kavala wondered momentarily if that was indeed true.

She blinked, shook her head, and glanced at the tall Akalak beside the Eth, hoping the two would make friends. She'd ask them both for a dance later, at the party, if everyone made it there in the end. Turning to Sybel, who was getting the last of her makeup done, Kavala commented. "You know, while you are single still, we should dance tonight like it was our last. I know you only have eyes for my brother, but some of these Akalaks can really move. And Caelum... he dances like a dust mote twinkling in sunlight. You should give it a shot with him too. He used to be so sad. Something has changed... as if he's found some sort of purpose. We should corner him later and ask." Kavala mused, more for herself than her friend.

[Beautyfest] Makeup Stalls

Rosela resisted the urge to roll her eyes as Radovan was unceremoniously dragged off by his mother. It had been an uncomfortable exchange to say the least and Rosela hoped to not run into him again. As for Teresa, Rosela felt a twinge of pity that she'd lost her beau as quickly as she'd found him, but the notion was brief. Glancing briefly over, she ran her eyes scornfully over the woman's freckles and sunspots, grateful for her own unmarred skin.

In front of her, an arrangement of sequins lay upturned in her hand, while a tiny brush clasped in another hand hovered over them. In a series of quick dabs, each received a miniscule amount of glue to the back end. Leveling her face in the mirror, two hands moved painstakingly slow, picking up a pair of sequins and placing them at matching, strategic points amongst the khol swirls outisde her eyes.

As she picked up the last pair, the hand that had held the collection flexed, cracking the small joints that had stiffened with the effort of keeping still. While two fingers still pressed the final sequins onto each side, movement to her left caught her attention and she hoped it wasn't Radovan, returning to apologize for his deception. Lowering her hands and praying the glue had dried sufficiently, she turned to face that which had made an unfortunate affair of her first few chimes of Beautyfest.

Instead she was greeted by two faces, one familiar and one not. She made a small noise of surprise as the stranger apparently already knew her name, courtesy of Kavala. A small noise of shock escaped and one hand pressed to her chest as another reached out to accept the beads. "I...I don't know what to say... Thank you so much!" Hopping out of her chair, she made to hug Caelum. Her first beads of the festival! She was on her way!

Stepping back, still grinning, she ceremoniously pulled the beads over her head and flipped her hair over the back. "And Favchean! So glad to see you out and about." Still caught up in the joy of her first beads she leaned over to give him a squeeze as well, being careful not to rub her makeup off on his chest. "I would love to come over and visit." Leaning to look between the two, she waggled her fingers at Kavala. Hopefully the day was going to start looking up. "Shall we?"

OOCCaelum: I left Rosela's hug open so you can dodge her if you want, given your...condition :)
