| Leth's Gnosis, Telepathy has been updated and finished. The most important changes include putting Telepathy more in line with Syna's gnosis, Inavalti. As Leth and Syna are the patrons of the Moon and the Sun, I felt they should be somewhat comparable. As a result, Telepathy can only be used at night in the direct light of the moon just as Inavalti can only be used during the day in the direct light of the sun. The range of Telepathy is also more in line with Inavalti as in it starts out small but increases dramatically as more marks are gained. The depth of communication also starts out small and simple but increases with greater marks. Although those with Telepathy cannot see things like those with Inavalti can, they can communicate with targets when Inavalti cannot. This symbolizes, in a way, some of the differences between the two gods. Syna is all about sight and seeing where Leth is about thought and reflection. At the same time, the two gods compliment each other and are empty in each others absence. So without Syna, Leth cannot see and without Leth, Syna cannot speak. Building off the similarities, the seeing (Syna) and reflection (Leth) parts are presented in the benefits Meditation brings to the gnosis. Meditation allow's those with Telepathy to sense the general physical location of those they are communicating with. While the target still can't be seen, the marked still has a mental idea of roughly where the target is at. As for Leth himself, nothing has been changed in his actual write-up. Only Telepathy has been updated. |
