Anna had made the same conclusion as Fallon had, that this Pascid was part of some higher class or aristocracy upon its homeworld. At the very least it was very quick to dismiss those upon the Lightface as being lesser beings compared to its own kin. The sorceress wondered how much of that was truly accurate and how much was merely arrogant posturing on its part, perhaps a little more exploration of Fyrden was in order. Grey eyes turned briefly to Fallon, who had in turn looked at her in a slightly unsure manner. The tall woman could see nothing wrong with her questions, as it kept within the theme of their questioning thus far.
“They are simply lesser by their very nature, though my own wise race is not for want of attempting to guide them down the correct paths.” Felixion spoke.
“In any event, I tire of this current line of questioning. I shall return to Fyrden now that our initial business is concluded, I suspect our next meeting will start off more pleasant than this one did.” The Pascid said, slowly sinking into the watery vortex with Anna tugging upon the Summoner’s Leash to assist it in its transition back to its homeworld.
Once the Pascid had vanished back through the Portal the vortex shut abruptly, the oily smell upon the air the only indication that it had ever existed. The sorceress drummed her fingers across her chin as she looked to Fallon, her expression carefully neutral. It would seem that a contact had been established upon the world of Fyrden, one Anna was happy to claim for herself as she somehow doubted Fallon could make proper use of Summoning. No thought was given towards what the other woman might have written in her journal, it simply had not occurred to Anna both as she had been working and after the Summoning itself.
Anna slowly started walking around the circle, her eyes gazing over the space where the vortex had existed. She did not speak for the longest time, crouching down near the circle and running a finger over the chalk circle lightly. This aspect of Summoning had not been something she had considered, dealing with entities beyond this world and gaining information about other worlds. This made two of the five sets of coordinates she now knew that she had explored, two worlds beyond her own made a little clearer. What more could lie out within their realm, just waiting to be discovered?
“Interesting. I had not expected something to come through the Portal so dramatically. Certainly more than a little full of itself, I certainly hope the majority of its race is not as such. However I’d say more was learned than not from the encounter.” Anna noted aloud, standing and walking back over to Fallon with a slight grin upon her face.
“A little different than things done at the University eh? There this might have earned expulsion but here it’s barely looked at as being abnormal. Quite a difference in policy, no? Much more… free. In some ways.” Anna said with a decidedly dark chuckle.
The tall woman moved back to the workstation and sat back down in her chair, her eyes looking back over the place where the Summoning Circles laid. She almost wanted to try another world today, to see what the other three could possibly have in store for her. The more coordinates she learned the purpose of, the more powerful she would become. Perhaps she could even gain a number of disposable followers or minions, who could truly say what was out there in the universe? It seemed so very large that Anna had no idea where to actually start.
"So. Any thoughts, dear Fallon?" Anna inquired.
