Hello My Dear Lhavathians!
I have a few house keeping things that need to be spoken about with the end of the season coming. First order of business that needs to be addressed is job threads. It has been brought to my attention that the requirement for the amount of Job Threads that have required of Lhavit are inconsistent with the amount of Job Threads stated in the Lore of the site. Currently it is stated within the
Lhavit Atlas:One thread is specifically for wage while the other is for experience. The wage thread is the character actually doing the job: A healer healing, a mercenary fighting, you get the idea. Pretty simple. The other thread however, is for experience only. The character is not doing the job. Instead, they're living the lifestyle of the job: A healer buying medicine, tools for surgery, practicing on their friends. A mercenary practicing for combat or networking and making connections. Just remember that they're technically not at work. Or if they are, they're not really doing the job. That is what makes the seasonal experience thread distinctly different from the wage thread.
The general requirement for the amount of job threads in a season is two according to the wiki
Job Thread Lore:Job Threads are IC threads that you do to gain your Seasonal Wages. Most domains require 2 job threads to gain full wages (whole season wage), one job thread equals to half-wages.
Due to the statements on the job thread lore I just wanted to make sure when everyone was posting their
job threads requests for
seasonal wages that they were including two separate job threads as well as the threads for the seasonal XP. I believe the explanation in differences between the job thread and the seasonal experience threads is very clear in the Atlas as well as in the wiki however the amount of threads required needs to be adjusted to match the wiki. If everyone was already planning on posting two threads then awesome, otherwise thank you so much for understanding this clarification.
Now secondly I wanted to talk about
living expenses to make sure everyone understood what expenses were proper for them to spend in relation to the wages they earn. Everyone please keep in mind what is expected of you for your living expenses and I will be checking in the beginning of fall to make sure that your living expenses match the income you are earning. There is are two posts from Gillar that clearly state what is expected for living expenses in the Founder's Public Service Announcements thread
here and
here. Please keep in mind if you are living beyond your means this also needs to be rectified, you should not be living in something you can't afford. Please read these over and take the appropriate steps! If you’re already living to your means then by all means please continue I just wanted to make sure we were all on the same page with the end of season upon us. Also please do keep in mind that if you are
renting a home that you are accounting for your rent as well, if you own then you’re all set. You can find a list of the locations where you would be renting a room in the
Lhavit Atlas. On the locations pages should be the proper amounts for rent that you would be spending if you do not own a home.
Thank you everyone! I hope your plots are going well for the summer and that you are all looking forward to the Fall. I know I am!
Your Destiny Awaits,
Kismet
p.s. The Atlas has been updated with forms of Kina and pictures!
