Ah. So I take it the placeholders do count then, I thought to check back within the thread and when I found this:

Anything you write within the month counts Even flashbacks. Or if you are working on a thread right now and aren't done any posts on or after this Sunday will count toward your word goal ;p

Wondered if that included placeholders as well. Thanks for the clarification though, makes keeping track of posts a whole lot easier.

Okay, I'm feeling pretty dense right now but I'm going to ask maybe a stupid question anyway. If we have grandfathered threads from Spring we're still posting in. Do those count?

Yup. ;p I've mentioned that a few times. Any words posted this summer count as submissions. However, if you post a grandfathered thread only the posts that were written today or after count.

*Facepalm* I didn't even think to look on the same page, all the same I didn't consider placeholders as "grandfathered" even if they're back in Spring. My concern was more or less about filling the first post of the placeholder, seeing as how half the time it may show whether or not you edited them.

Of course Caela, you and your alt can join any time you want. Please read through the previous pages there are some important questions answered and other announcements and what not. Do you want Caela and your alt counted separately or together? (I am counting Unas and Jaye's word counts, My PCs, together because I want to accomplish 50k words as a writer not on a specific account so that I don't neglect other threading partners. However, you will not earn a medal for this as it wasn't done on one account) If you want them done separately that is fine too. Let me know here or in a PM is fine as well.
