[Alvadas] False Impressions

Hi guys, just a quick message to let you all know that I have been very busy last week, and this week promises to be busy too. I have a show to put on, a concert to play in and my boyfriend is coming over at the weekend as it's his birthday. BUT. I will be grading as often as I can, and I'm still here working on things!

Spring is fast approaching! Don't forget to put down any placeholders for Winter job threads and update your ledger to include Winter 515 seasonal expenses.

Just thought I would make a small announcement so people don't forget.

Just a small note: I have a calendar for Spring all prepared for you. It will need to be checked over as I am but a lowly AS, but it will be up as soon as possible.

I cannot authorise job requests, or give wages out: so all these requests should go through Elysium.

I'll be working on getting all your individual requests sorted next, and getting the new locations and NPCs in place.

Hope you're all ready and looking forward to the season change!

Because I am impatient, and it is technically Spring where I live... the calendar is now up! The registry is contained within, so please feel free to add your name if you are continuing to stay here, or if you are a new resident or visitor in the city!

A Proposition

What's up Alvads? I wanted to ask you guys about an idea. Feedback would be much appreciated, even if it's just a yes or no. Here 'tis.

So, you all know Alvadas is a city of illusion. But, as well as the illusions of the calendar, there are also what I informally call 'local illusions', creatures or weird shapes, or whatever, that one sees all around the city. Illusions that might not get mentioned in the calendar because they're only small or fleeting.

To make these more present, I thought that I might start doing random, one or two post moderator interventions on any thread that I think an illusion might wander into! To give an example: perhaps you've got a solo going, where you're doing some shopping. You're on three posts, just leaving the Bizarre. When suddenly, a wild orange frog leaps onto a nearby building, and promptly gets absorbed...

If you think you'd like something like this, tell me below! If you don't, then I won't. What I will say is that whatever your opinion is, please go into your character registry and put in a small yes/no to mod interventions, so that I can see who'd like it, and who wouldn't.
