(O I was talking about Ren's head)
Ren craked one eye open as he heard a distant yell. Ren thought for a moment 'who could that be' Ren thought on and came to the conclusion that it was Reaver looking for him 'what was he thinking Reaver would never be able to find him alone.' Ren started to bark loudly, or more like yelping from the pain of his punctured ear. The blood in his ear was starting to clot band the gushing blood turned into dripping blood, Rens brilliant white coat was now dark red and was matted to his skin.

Teaching Lessons (Reaver)

Postby Reaver on April 14th, 2011, 10:49 am

Reaver was about to go waiting on his boat, and suddenly heard repeated yelps. Reaver swiftly made his way to the yelps. If not his ally, it was something he should be able to hunt. With several trips and small tumbles hindering his progress, he eventually made his way to a small clearing. He looked around to find a wolf and a deer both looking quite dead. Wait, is it moving? Upon closer inspection, he found the wolf wasn't gone yet. He examined for wounds carefully, but as the wolf didn't seam to respond suddenly to his touching beyond the obviously injured ear, he assumed it would be alright.

"Hunting seams dangerous. I'm not sure I'm ready to attempt to learn such a thing." With that comment, Reaver will contemplate how to remove the blood still left in the creature, only to realize he had no means of carrying it to somewhere it would be used. He decided to let Ren rest until he was ready. Reaver was in no hurry, none at all.

((Sorry if it was bad, really tired but told myself to finish the post before bed.))

Teaching Lessons (Reaver)

Ren felt Reaver looming over him as got up stggering to the left and then to the right. Ren felt very lightheaded as his body screamed for him to lay back down. As his body won the argument Ren drooped over falling on the ground in a big thud!

Ren then fell asleep after choosing not to fight his body, he needed rest if he ever hoped to get up

"Just rest." Clearly his earlier inspection left much room for improvement. He double-checked Ren's head, hoping he could tell what was and wasn't supposed to be there. Determining everything but the ear was in place, he moved on. The ear isn't bleeding much, it'll stop. Maybe more of this blood was his then I thought. Reaver looked around the meadow, contemplating how easy it would be to use this area for the training.

The ground is rather flat, that's good. There is space, another good sign. I think this meadow will do nicely. Now, I should be able to find my way here and back, yes? Reaver will glance around, carefully, and make his way to where he assumed the beach was. He was careful to draw arrows in the dirt back to the meadow rather frequently. Eventually finding the beach, he noted he was rather off from his boat. Taking his boots off, he filled them with sand, and made his way back to the meadow. Laying his cape down, he put the sand on the cape, then continued to make trips like this until he had a good pile. He made one last stop to the beach to clean his boots and put them back on. Finding his way to the meadow was much easier with the arrows.

Watching Ren rest for a few moments, he decided to look around for something to cast the spell on. He looked for a young tree not far from the meadow. He slowly removed one of the bendy branches from the tree, and took it back to where he had his sand waiting. It feels a bit shallow, but perhaps the lesson will do fine. Reaver decided to get one more branch, this one bigger then the last. It didn't move much, but it could. Reaver sat right next to a tree, and decided to rest until Ren was ready.

Teaching Lessons (Reaver)

Ren grumpily cracked his left eye open. Taking in the sea before him Ren took a long deep breath filling his lungs to capacity then releasing it all in a longwinded sigh. Ren tried to flip his aching body around only to find that his muscles had tightened up from the long amount time spent laying completly still. Realizing he was still in animal form Ren quickly shifted back into his human form his muscular chest and torso was covered in his own blood. Ren took a momment to sit his aching body upright, Ren felt his ear rubbing his fingers over the various parts of his ears trying to locate where his ear had been punctured by the deer's antler. As his fingers found the hole in his ear, his nerves slow to react sent pain pulsing through his body. Ren's hand came to rest in his lap 'what to do what to do, I wonder when Reaver will wake up, maybe I should go to sleep I'm sure he'll wake me up when he's ready. Ren layed his head right beside Reaver impulsively scratching himself with his leg. Ren fell again into a deep sleep

Teaching Lessons (Reaver)

Postby Reaver on April 20th, 2011, 3:02 pm

About four hours later, Reaver found himself awake once more. Looking down, he noticed Ren was human once more, and laying on top of him. Does he need to wake up to change? Did I sleep too long? Carefully moving Ren, he managed to finally get himself up. After Reaver made sure his stuff was still around the area, and all the supplies in place, he decided it was time to awaken Ren and continue the lesson. He knelt down beside the Kelvic, and examined the ear. Noting it was healing nicely, he then tried shaking Ren awake. "It's about time we got something done, yes?"

"It's about time we got something done, yes?"

Ren Grumpily craked one eye open at hearing Reavers voice, he pulled his hands over his eyes that were still adjusting to the bright afternoon sunlight.
Ren urged his sore body to get into a sitting position, but to no avail. After trying multiple times to sit up Ren just lazily rolled over laying his bare back against the ground.

"Yes i think we should too"

Ren paused for a momment blinking his eyes to make the daytime transition of his eyes speed up.

"What did you have in mind?"

"I was thinking of having you draw those circles, in a roundabout way. Digging it in the dirt, and filling the holes with sand to make them stand out. Dirt is easy to fix should something be out of place." Reaver offered a hand out to Ren, hoping to help him stand to his feet.

Ren Tanor

Ren sat pondering what Reaver had said.

"Use sand and dirt to make a circle"

Ren said approvingly as he grasped Reavers hand.

"So thats what the sand was for"

He said as gestured to Reavers cape, Ren patted his legs down trying to get the majority of the dirt off his body. Ren walked to one of the surrounding tress, he wrapped both of his hands around a thick branch, he tugged at it trying to determine how much force he would need to break it off, coming to a conclusion he pushed the branch down snapping it off the tree. walking back to Reaver.

"Is this good?"

Ren asked leaning the branch over his shoulder.

"You could use your hands as well. The tool isn't important, just the result. As with any art, take your time and the result will be fine. We can fix dirt. After you make your first circle, make another one close to your first circle. A short line will be used to connect them. I'll oversee the process and inform you how you're doing. The branches were for something else."
