Lucas
Lucas is my other PC. I stopped posting with him a while ago because almost all my thread partners disappeared on me (or were banned in one or two cases). It’s just a little frustrating when so many of your threads end before they are actually over, you know? Even the mod I was working with stopped posting.
I’ve begun to miss playing him recently.
Veldrys, my main PC, is always so serious. He rarely gets angry or acts on an impulse. He isn’t particularly funny either. He has made it his goal to save his people from extinction. That’s an enormous task for a single man. He has received a rather ominous prophecy, and he just found out that the woman he spent so much time with is pregnant (and you know what often happens to women that are pregnant with a Symenestra’s child).
His life is very complicated.
I need something to balance that.
Lucas is Veldrys‘ complete opposite. He’s childish, slightly awkward, acts without thinking, drinks, behaves in inappropriate ways and just completely lacks common sense most of the time. On top of that he’s a squire.
Sometimes I feel the need to make weird or funny posts and that’s just not possible with Veldrys. He’ll never misbehave. Lucas almost certainly will, on purpose. He was supposed to show people that not all knights are honorable, noble and boring all the time, but I don’t know …
… I can’t actually picture him as a knight anymore. I just can’t picture him in armor, protecting Syliras. Lucas wants to go on adventures. He wants to study at the university, learn as much as possible and entertain people with bad music, literature of questionable quality and paintings that nobody understands. He doesn’t want to do the same thing that his parents are doing, no matter how noble and important it is.
I just don’t know where I’ll take him. Zeltiva? Alvadas? Or shall I let him annoy people in Syliras until a mod intervenes and they actually throw him out of Syliras?
Also, I need a good avatar for him. Pictures of red haired teenage boys that weren’t in a Harry Potter movie are incredibly hard to find for some reason.
