HI all! I'm looking for someone to attend the Winter Revelry with me so I can knock out that thread goal. I want one person, and after that anyone else who joins needs to join in pairs. Sorry, but no standing off by yourself. Anyway, if you want to party with me, join the thread. If nobody joins by the 1st of March then I'll just make it into a solo. That is all. ~Sira

Oh my goodness! I definitely want to go to that! Sounds like a good time. I can't post at the moment, so don't wait up for me. Drusilla, Miana and I are doing a thread at the moment where they are talking about making dresses and masks and the like for the Winter Revelry, so I think when that's done I/we will be able to head over. If that's alright.

I've already got someone who's about to post, but if you want to join you can, just make sure you come in pairs because the Winter Revelry requires you to be paired off for the night.

Hellooooooooooo Gingers! Spring will be here before you know it! Just one more day of the Winter season remains! Remember that if you have any threads that you were hoping to do during the Winter, 511 season you are going to have to make a placeholder (With a proper Thread name and description!) before March first to be able to do so. On another note, the Announcement of the Mizahar wide event has been posted! Read through it carefully! I will be taking VOLUNTEERS of those PC's that would like to be left out in the storm when it explodes! Good things will happen, Bad things will happen. There is no guarantee that you will like what happens to your PC but I promise you will have fun doing it! Just post below if you are interested. Alright! Welcome to Spring 512!! The first order of business includes a new Character Registry as well as Calendar Events and a whole new set of Thread challenges! Secondly, for those of you who don't know, The Massive Djed Storm hit Wind Reach, as well as the rest of Mizahar, at the beginning of this season. When Fire Strikes is an open thread that I am offering to all of you. Over the course of the thread, it will detail exactly what happens in Wind Reach after the Storm. It is IMPERATIVE that you read this thread, even if you don't participate, because lots of things are changing. Buildings will be destroyed and rebuilt. NPC's could be dead. The Wild Djed could effect the city in very unexpected ways. For those of you who wish to participate, I will wait for the rest of today, March 1st, until tomorrow before I post again. If you can't post in this time frame, no worries, you can really jump in at any time, I am just giving everyone a chance to join before I get the ball rolling. Alright, so I decided that I needed to post a list of what was destroyed or changed in Wind Reach because of the storm for those who wanted to post right away about the aftermath. -The Courtyard of the Sky is filled with boulders and large rocks, making it barely navigable and very dangerous. Most of the columns and pillars surrounding the courtyard are still intact. -There will be hardly any wind at all. This will raise the temperature on the mountain significantly, especially since the Volcano is active. The Baths, for instance, will be no more until the heat dissipates, unless you want to be boiled alive. -Weather wise, Wind Reach doesn't suffer too badly (other than the aforementioned extreme heat) -The Hallway to the Darniva Commons is collapsed. A pathway will be cleared in and out but it is treacherous. -The tunnel to the Underground Forest is collapsed and needs to be rebuilt -Nearby peaks have exploded or erupted. Lava will cover the face of most of the mountain, leaving the tree and plant life at the foot of the mountain decimated. -Keep in mind that many hallways of the Inner Warrens will have collapsed. -Most of the animals in the Unforgiving surrounding Wind Reach would have fled pre-storm further away from the mountain. This will effect food and resources. -Many Eagle Aeries will also have been destroyed. If you decide you want your Aerie to be one of these, Endal, just send me a PM to let me know so I can keep track. -Any professions using fire will be unsafe. During the storm and for nearly ten days afterwards, Fire will be unmanageable and will burn out of control, igniting even the stone. That means kilns, braziers, torches, candles, everything. If you wish to cause some personal destruction this way, send me a PM! -Thunderbay will be absolutely calm while the storm is raging. No winds will be available to push any sailboats or anything of the sort. The aquatic wildlife will also have (if possible) fled. No fish or seafood will be harvested until the storm dies down. -After the initial storm, the shoreline of Thunderbay drastically drops, as if the water has been sucked out of the bay to somewhere else. -There are going to be MANY changes to the Wind Eagle. If you are an Endal and you are posting AFTER the storm hits, PM me first for details about what happened to your Eagle.
