Most people know me as Seven, but I'm also Macabre, Kalinor's resident purple storyteller. Lots of people want to become storytellers, and the process has gotten significantly more guarded than when I was handed the keys to cavetown a year ago. I just want to thank all the players that make Kalinor what it is, whether your PC lives there or came from there or is just visiting (for about nine months, heh heh). It isn't Mizahar's most active city by a long shot and I like it that way. I have the time to sit down and read about peoples' characters and their trials and conflicts and really get to know who is writing in my domain without it eating up my entire life.

I also think the symenestra are the coolest race this game offers. Who wouldn't want to drool venom and cling to walls and be renown the world over? Alright, so the rumours aren't entirely flattering, but people know what you are when you walk into a room, damn it.

There's been a lot of stink in the air lately and a lot of bitter people grumping around, calling people mean names and accusing this or that. I just wanted to say that I'm genuinely happy I was given a purple name in which to play with spider people, that I have some neat staffers to go when I've got troubles to in not just Kalea, but from elsewhere too.

The true North, strong and free!

I'm a pretty hardcore patriot when it comes down to it. I love my country. I believe that's a blessing in a world where so many people live in squalor and oppression. Forgive me while I gush a bit, but Canada is simply amazing, and while our stereotypes leave something to be desired (seriously, you can stop with the 'eh' jokes), there are worse things than being known as overly polite and a little campy.

Canadians are inherently proud of all things Canadian. They won't hesitate to let you know which artists, scientists, humanitarians and other do-gooders came from us. When the winter Olympics roll about, no one in the world cares more about how their country fares in hockey (silver is simply not an option).

We don't forget where we came from. The queen's old lady face is still on our money, and the media is all too eager to let us know when royals hop across the pond to grace us with their presence. When we meet each other abroad, it's a great big affair--"Oh my god, you're Canadian?! I'M Canadian!" usually followed by "Where from?" hoping in vain the other doesn't mention the GTA. Or is that just me? Fine, Torontonians are Canadians too.

Anyway, it's my country's big day. It knows how much I love it, and now you do too.

Stop being so good at drawing, or at least wait until I can do something as awesome as that. I'll do something, I don't know, learn how to dance, play the sax, cook at a basic level. Something beyond me currently.
