Okay, the quest is officially closed. Kavak, Snowdrop, Skidril, Spirit, and Kenna you have all chosen to participate in this challenging quest! First a Pre-Quest will be posted and played. Those of you who manage to get the information necessary to embark on the quest will do so. Maybe none of you will manage and the Icewatch will get all the glory, or maybe the culprits will get away. We'll just have to wait and see how clever or forceful you can all be!

You must gather at least 3 pieces of information and recognize as a crime, I will keep a running tally of the number of "information" you have gathered on the first post in the quest. Knowing more will always benefit you in the actual quest. The pre-quest will run until it has reached its natural conclusion.

The pre-quest will not have a posting order. You may post as frequently as I respond to your character. if two of you end up in the same spot investigating then a posting order will be established until you separate. Those of you who can find out WHAT the crime is, and recognize the crime as an actual crime will win a chance to participate in the thread. Those of you who do not will carry on their merry way ignorant of the crimes until they are exposed to the entire community.

So putting the quest advertisement here didn't seem to work very well. instead! I am going to post here that a quest is now open but put all the information and sign-ups in my office for easy viewing. The only thing my office is for is moderated threads and quests so if you want to participate in either post there and keep an eye on there.

A lot of changes and additions are going to be happening at one here so best be you check here frequently:

Changes to Icewatch will be listed in the link map as well as here but just so you are aware changes have been made:
1) a 10% tax will be levied against all accounts that are not Icewatch members at the end of each season. This will pay for Icewatch members housing and clothing.
2) Those in Icewatch will have free housing and thus can deduct 50GM seasonally from their seasonal expenses and will be given a new set of leather clothing after a season spent in the Icewatch. One does not have to be bonded to be awarded these benefits, merely an apprentice is fine.
3) Those starting as polar bear kelvics get the same benefits.
4) polar bear kelvics may go up to 2 seasons without bonding.
5) one may decrease the tax given to the Icewatch by doing extra work threads involving the Icewatch. For every extra work thread involving the Icewatch your taxes will decrease by 2%. 5 threads a season involving work with the Icewatch will mean you pay no taxes. These threads may not be used as both work threads and tax deduction threads and they must have the same minimum length for credit as a work thread.

Just wanted to let everyone know that my activity should be improving quite a bit starting tomorrow, as that's when my exams end for the moment. Also, I really liked how comfy you made the thread...kinda hard to be suspicious properly. Seems like an everyday event, other than the secretive hints.

We will miss you Lulls and Avanthal will most definitely be less shiny without you, but we wait for your return with warm hearts. This isn't really goodbye so no tears, just hugs and well wishes until next time. On the business end, I will be taking over the quest my PC is not participating in and Eleazar will be guest modding the thread Una is in. For that thread please be patient with her, it is her first time guest modding and she needs to change lulls outline as she wishes, whatever makes her comfortable and get approval through HD. The other thread will be run as Lulls outlined in commemoration of her leaving so we will all have a part of her in our thread history until she returns. requests should be reposted in my office please. as a repeat, prompts and quests will now be posted in my office as well so if you want to participate in any of that feel free to subscribe there. I will also put an announcement here that something has opened up, but sign ups will be in my office.

Let me introduce you to Isaac: Avanthal's resident polar bear Kelvic. Bred specifically to become a mount for the Icewatch, Isaac is currently floating until he finds a bondmate. I'm excited to start writing stories with everyone, and looking forward to making friends IC.
