Grading party?

Aw no Dove, that's okay you can terrorise us with you awesome in Feb. Not breaking tradition, anyone who does more grades than me can pic my display for the next month ;] I'll also make a nifty little banner for the winner and set up something more offical in my plot notes next weekend. Should be fun!

Grading party?

Postby Sayana on January 3rd, 2016, 9:54 pm

I was considering doing a month long grading contest (for us slow but steady folk) but I think it's just simpler having one grading 'thing' going on at once. Though my offer still stands that for every 10 grades you do, pick a city and I'll do a grade there.

Month long would be great, I'm slow as heck and don't like to rush through grades (because my attention span is so short)

Grading party?

Postby Tribal on January 8th, 2016, 7:41 pm

Nearing that time, it's actually Saturday morning for me ATM but I let my daughter cook dinner last night and well... I dont recall a time in my life that I ever felt this sick, LOL. It probably wasn't her cooking (it totally was), but I'm in no state to sit up grading with my sick bowl.

If I don't feel any better tomorrow, you have my word that Monday /Tuesday (your Sunday / Monday), will be dedicated to grading.

Someone asked about suggestions as to where we should focus our efforts? Well I'd say everywhere needs our efforts, but date wise, I know Sunberth, Syliras, Zeltiva, and Riverfall, etc could really use our help.

Last time I think we had set up a deal that if the player(s) in a thread hadn't been online and active for the last two months, have seasonal exspence problems, etc, we sent them a PM to reapply for the grade upon their return instead of promising ourselves to 20+ grades that may or may not ever get done, so let's try that a second time because I think it worked well and was fair on everyone.

Plume and I managed to move some really long (20-30 post) threads in the last few days to try and make it easier on you lot. Grade where you feel comfortable as knowing the lore is important, but try and get grades to those who have been waiting the longest.

Thanks to everyone who is getting involved in this again, I know the work you do this weekend will really make someone's day!

Over and out.

Grading party?

Postby Ruari Darkwind on January 8th, 2016, 9:06 pm

I forgot about this event, except for the calendar notification. I can't participate and I hate to flake out without reason, but I'm attending a funeral and wake today and tomorrow and just won't be into it Sunday. Regardless, good luck l and have fun!

Graders Please Note :
As Ball is getting closer and closer to maxing out Pyken as a skill, I would like to request that in places where Ball is not doing enough to constitute Pyken XP if Pyken technique lores could be issued instead.

Examples of proper XP level for Pyken would be: Ball developing or refining his technique by adding new thing against an actual moving target, not a dummy.

The use of basic skills alone are not enough to accomplish XP at Ball's current level of Pyken.

Thank you.

I will be handling all Ball related posts on Mondays @ 1800 my time *

Several minutes ago, Tribal explain he had donned his "kick butt boots".

I believe I may need to wish the rest of you "good luck". Also, you may want to wear some metal pants.

P.S. - This is complete hearsay, and Tribal has told me no such thing. Most likely.

Well, here's my contribution for the day.

Friendly Debate
Is This a Hunt or a Skirmish?
Of Earth and Clay
Hunting, Hunting, and more Hunting
A Family Like That
Knocking On My Door
Stir Crazy
A Handful Of Spades
A Horsey Reunion
The Acceptance
A Day of Moping and Sewing
Something For My Stomach
Webshooter, for Real!
A Child for a Child
Smoky Skies

And Sayana if you were serious about your offer, I've done over 20 grades this month (in the last four days actually), so if you can take two in Endrykas that would be awesome.
