Love the playlist, I have all but three in my library. I and Love and You makes me a bit maudlin when I line it up with Cae.

Hey, y'all. On the fly and on my phone. I need some help. Anyone know how and have the ability to edit an audio file? and possibly convert it to mp3? Long story. Its this two minute WWII script I pulled for my grandfather's veterans group. Real story, details for when I'm on my computer. Phone typing sucks.

The short of the long is that my grandfather was complaining to my father recently that his veterans group is always discussing super depressing topics. It's a veterans group, so some of that's to be expected; but Grampa, he wanted to have some more uplifting, comedic and light hearted topics on the table.

Dad suggested Grampa lead by example. This resulted in my father receiving a hand written letter from Grampa requesting that my father enlist my specific assistance in recording a script he wrote. (Yes, there was a handwritten script enclosed.)

Grampa was a navigator on a C47 during World War II. Apparently they were flying into some place called Ciampino Airfield or the like outside of Rome post war with a nurse on board. As a lark, they had the female nurse communicate with the tower. Notably, back then there were no female pilots. It was a big joke.

So I have this script where I'm playing the nurse straight manning it to the Ciampino tower and then going all "flirty". (Yes, my Grampa specifically noted in said script to get "flirty".) My father -- Mr. Former Broadcaster Who Went to the Dark Side (read as: PR) -- plays the tower. Lacking any other equipment, I used an app on my phone much to my father's amazement. I have now emailed this file (something called a .3pg) to myself.

I have no idea what a .3pg file is. Nor do I know how to convert it to an mp3. Amusingly, Grampa's exact remark in his letter was: "...and could you tell Kathleen" -- yes, that's one of my real names -- "to make it an MP3? I am assured by our director that my grand daughter, at least, will know what that means."

I love my family.

Oh! Bina, I have a Dor playlist too. It's shorter though. Also, I freakin' love Bastille.
