Rush Hour Risks And Rewards! Congrats on the winners Avari and Jaron! Here's the Sahiri's Summary and the reason why she picked this particular thread. Although Irriari is no longer with us to help me review a thread of the month, I’ve chosen to feature Rush Hour Risks and Rewards, a thread by Avari and Jaron located in Zeltiva, Sylira. This is an interesting, well-written and beautifully detailed thread in Zeltiva, featuring a Kontinese jill-of-all-trades who specializes in thievery, or so it would seem, and a hard-as-nails mercenary who has seen both sides of luck and loss. Avari picked a mark, and soon found herself in a spot of trouble when Jaron did not take kindly to her unasked-for assistance in helping to lighten his purse, so to speak. Things take an interesting turn of events following some interesting storytelling and plenty of quick thinking. And I certainly never could have guessed the ending from the first couple threads, which is a very refreshing change of pace. My favourite part of this thread is the exchanges and the repartee between Avari and Jaron – I find that sometimes, oftentimes, interaction can come across as forced and wooden. This time, not so. It comes across as extremely natural with two believable characters that expand upon and use the setting as something for more than mere backdrop. It is an incredibly engaging thread with fantastic writing from both participants that I simply could not stop reading until I hit the end.

Jaron deserves almost all the credit for making this an interesting thread, as he's not only an excellent and very easygoing writer to work with but also added the narrative twist later in the thread that added a lot more action, excitement, and opportunities for interaction.
