Welcome to Wind Reach!

Wind Reach is the beautiful city of redheads and their giant Eagles. Unmatched by any other, this forum is filled to brimming with opportunities for players and characters alike! Along with a complete City Entry in the wiki, Wind Reach will also include a comprehensive players guide filled with RP tips and pointers for surviving in this challenging environment.

Wind Reach is a unique roleplaying environment that is designed to be both challenging on an individual basis and on a group level. The whole of Mt. Skyinarta's existence depends on overarching plotlines that effect the whole of Mizahar - so each and every one of her citizens will be playing a crucial role in the future of the history of the world. Full of mysteries wrapped in an enigma, Wind Reach is considered the City of Secrets by the outside world. Remote, incredibly dangerous and difficult to visit, Wind Reach is designed to lure players to its tragic interdependence and keep them wanting more.

Use this forum to communicate with your fellow players, organizing events, threads, and ideas. Post questions and concerns here as well. It is strong suggested that this forum is subscribed to by everyone who plays within the city, as it is the easiest way to keep up-to-date with events!

Hey all! It's summer! Woohoo! *dances*

Ok would it be an interesting idea for a thread, if some kind of wizard came to Wind Reach and gave out cryptic fortunes to each of the PC's, and that could branch out into separate threads where they are trying to find or do something related to the vision? Or is that silly?

That is an awesome idea, Aela! I can add it to the Calendar for Summer and I encourage you to start the thread and find a bunch of PC's who would be interested!

If you get the interest and get the thread started, I can hop in randomly and surprise everyone with information and twists. I'm wanting players to take the initiative this season and start making awesome threads on their own without a ST's guidance. This is a perfect example.

I have a idea of a event for Wind Reach. I think Wind Reach needs a festival. We can call it simple as Festival of the Phoenix. It can be a symbol to Ivak that even if he destroyed Wind Reach. The Inarta were able to rebuild and flourish. It could be a refresher before the next season since the calendar is filled with more bad things than good. It might give the Inarta a chance to relax. If you like I can help plan it with you guys. I have some ideas.

Hello, Gingerkin of Wind Reach! Welcome to Summer of 512! First order of business, please update your CSes for I and Phoenix! This is a requirement if you have any threads you'd like graded!

That being said, remember to post for Seasonal Wages and XP in the thread here. Thank you!

As for the thread, I will be coming around and PMing active members of the community to see who wants in and not. After which I will put up a closed thread, in which those who have volunteered their time may join.

This wizard idea sounds very interesting. I'm definatly in.

As for me my goal for this season is to get my collection of birds I've been working on an the aviary I've been creating all finished. In the end there should be six smaller types of birds and this aviary will be a place where the people of Inarta can come and see the birds nest and live.

Also, just to throw it out there - I've been doing a lot of research into the making of glass beads and have quite a bit of information tucked away. So if anyone wants a lesson on how to make glass beads - whether in an rp thread or OOC - I would be happy to help.

Great communication everyone! I love it!

Check out the Calendar Events page for some new updates. I switched it over for summer and added new thread goals. Every season the Calendar changes and we add things that we think the players will enjoy doing. Use it! It's a wonderful tool, especially if you are lacking inspiration for a new thread.

However, we have something new on the Calendar this season. The Open Event is going to allow players to moderate their own adventure, and I strongly encourage you all to do so. The animals around wind reach have been effected by the storm, mutating them in hideous as well as beautiful ways. Not only does increased hunting activity help the city for the coming winter and dictates how starved all your character will be, but this is an awesome opportunity to get some cool things!

Up and coming are some additions to the Flora and Fauna lists as well as a bunch of new locations!! So get ready, Summer is going to be awesome.
