Welcome to Wind Reach! This is the OOC Thread for the Fall 512 Season! Wind Reach is the beautiful city of redheads and their giant Eagles. Unmatched by any other, this forum is filled to brimming with opportunities for players and characters alike! Along with a complete City Entry in the wiki, Wind Reach will also include a comprehensive players guide filled with RP tips and pointers for surviving in this challenging environment. Wind Reach is a unique roleplaying environment that is designed to be both challenging on an individual basis and on a group level. The whole of Mt. Skyinarta's existence depends on overarching plotlines that effect the whole of Mizahar - so each and every one of her citizens will be playing a crucial role in the future of the history of the world. Full of mysteries wrapped in an enigma, Wind Reach is considered the City of Secrets by the outside world. Remote, incredibly dangerous and difficult to visit, Wind Reach is designed to lure players to its tragic interdependence and keep them wanting more. Use this forum to communicate with your fellow players, organizing events, threads, and ideas. Post questions and concerns here as well. It is strong suggested that this forum is subscribed to by everyone who plays within the city, as it is the easiest way to keep up-to-date with events!

Wind Reach! Gingers! Non-Gingies!

It is FALL! Woohoo! We survived the summer! Congratulations!

All the changes are under way. I've moved everything over from summer to fall, and that means that there are a whole bunch of new things to look over! Some of them won't be completed until later tonight or tomorrow, so please check back!

Now, for the list! I love lists, as many of you have probably figured out by now!

The Fall List
Things to take note of and/or complete.

• First and foremost: WAGES! Please please submit your job threads HERE if you want your Seasonal Salary (there is a form to fill out). Neither Sphinx nor myself are going to chase you down and ask you to do this. It's all on your shoulders. For more information on what the Seasonal Wages are or what you have to do to to earn them, Look Here.
• Because it is Fall, there is also a new Calendar as well as new Open Events. Both of these things are underused every season, which I think is a shame because they are both chock-full of ideas waiting to be used! Ideas for Solos, Job threads, Character Development, and more. The Seasonal Calendar is put up there so that when you have run out of ideas or want to add a twist to your PC's daily life you have some place to turn! Long story short: USE THEM!!!
• There is also a new OOC thread...Oh! You've found it already. Bahaha.
• Every Season we put up a new Character Registry so that Players have a current list of who is active within the City! Please, even if you just posted in the Summer Registry, repost your information in the Fall one as well! If you are seen posting in the forum without first having put yourself in this thread, you will be kindly asked to do so before continuing!
• I know I linked both the Calendar and the Open Events already, but I forgot to mention the Seasonal Thread Challenge as well, found at the bottom of the Calendar. Again, another great opportunity for thread ideas if you just seem to be lacking, or even if you aren't! Seriously guys, we're practically shoving free threads down your throats!
• Don't forget about the Treasure Nest! Awesome stuff! Do it!

And thus ends my list. I know it is a lot of words but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read it, as it is all important information!

The last order of business for today is the Fall Quest.

It is not quiet ready to begin yet, as everything isn't quite in place. However, I will be giving notice when it is coming close, with information on dates so that if you are interested you can make sure your PC has a clear schedule

I will be posting a sign-up sheet when the time comes, but for now, read over this thread, even though it's not complete. It's important. Just sayin'.

Hello!

So, if I wanted to get just a bird companion, such as a non-Wind eagle, hawk, falcon, or even a Raven, should I make a thread and self-moderate and ask for grading at end or should I ask for a moderator for assistance?

Also, for solo crafting threads, do I just do posts over a period of a few days about what I am crafting? Does anyone have any good examples I could look at?

Welcome Sarel! I hope everyone else is having a productive season thus far! I just wanted to compliment everyone, once again, for the amazing activity that has been going on lately within Wind Reach! I am loving it and I hope you all are having fun too! As you all may or may not have noticed, Tarot added Thread Tags to the forum! We are all estatic about this because not only is it one more thing that sets us apart from everyone else, but it also gives us the opportunity to make everything look pretty! Now, instead of having to write [Flashback] in the Subject/Title of your thread, you can just tag it! Same goes for Open, Closed, Modded, Quest... yay! Now, if you all want to start tagging your threads, that'd be awesome! If you don't feel like it, that's fine too because I'm going to go through and add them as well throughout the forum! They're too awesome not to be used! If I tag a thread of yours wrong in the process, feel free to change it!
