That's about correct, I believe. Though the Drykas were out to increase their numbers as much as possible, women and children were considered a higher priority then men, if only because the raiders thought they would find it easier to adapt to an entirely new way of life. Men were, generally, deemed too likely to attempt escape or to stir up various other forms of discontent.
That said, if a male volunteered the raiding parties would be more then happy to take him. In terms of ratios though, Endrykas seems to have a few more female player characters than male. I take no responsibility for the problem.
