Hi Everyone!

I'm relatively new to the site and wanted to introduce myself. I'm not new to web based role play, but have been away from it for a very long time. I have tried on several occasions to start writing again particularly on this site, but with college and life in general I haven't been able to.

I really enjoy writing about character development, difficult choices, exploration, magic, political intrigue, and much more. I do on occasion like writing romance, but typically shy away from the more graphic and bizarre stuff.

I'll pass Mirage. I'm not exactly ST material, I am content enough with just grading. That and I yet have to find another city apart from Lhavit that truly interests me (I should go explore the rest of Miz a bit more ). I also believe that such a ... responsibility would wear me out rather quickly. Even though it does sound appealing to become staff. Funny thing is that I wanted to ST before too, then realizing the above and deciding to become a grader instead I wish you luck with finding new STs though.

To the subject of grades then! I know I've let the requests pile up a bit. I also know I should diminish said pile before it gets any bigger, though I hardly have the time, believe it or not. It's tough to find time to write for Bran, which results in me having to stick to schedules (which is not my forte). However, Wednesday 28/01 (if I am not mistaken) my exams will be over and starting then I'll do my best to catch up and give you all your well deserved grades

I really wish I could become an ST, but I don't fit the required criteria to. I'll see what I can do to help out, however! And Mirage, whilst you and the rest of the Staff have been doing a phenomenal job in keeping the site fresh and alive, I realize that it's a heavy burden to bear! One may also report to Hanei a wizard they know exists in ‎the city who is unregistered, and runs the risk of overgiving and thus endangering other ‎members of the city. The process is quick and simple, involving the signing of one form ‎which states that you are indeed a practitioner of magic and gives the permission for the ‎Shinya to detain you if necessary. The three main houses fully endorse the Wizard Registry, and when one registers he is taken under supervision by one of the Main Houses. This information allows for the registered Wizard to petition their particular supporting house for things such as loans for businesses and access to specific parts of the Library, and perhaps even request jobs related to their magical abilities. Once the official forms are signed the Wizard is given a patch they must wear at all times with the symbol of the House whose authority they fall under.

Wizard's are registered under the house that supports their main magic which is most likely what will be used to determine what type of magical related job they may apply for. The Dawn House supports Reimancers, Shielders, Flux users and Magecrafters. Dusk house supports Aurist, Spiritist, and Summoners. Twilight House supports Morphers, Alchemist and Animators. Leechers and Hypnotist are not supported by any of the main houses as these magics are seen as disruptive to the community. Glyphers may be supported by any of the houses though if Glyphing is chosen as one's main magic it is unlikely any work will be made available. Malediction and Voiding are not supported directly by any of the house, and it is rare that any work is available for those who practice these disciplines. Projection is under the direct supervision of the Shinya. Having any of these magics is acceptable within the city, however, the practice of some such as leeching and hypnotism in a way that is not permitted will cause quick and drastic consequences.

What if you practice multiple disciplines of magic that fall under multiple houses? Many of us either do or are planning on learning either in current threads or flashbacks elsewhere.
