if you anyone wants to become my disciple in Auristics (the only magic Nivel is good enough to teach) just send me a message. If your characters can prove that they can be responsible to Nivel she'll teach them this skill. It's a pretty good magical practice for beginners.

I would be interested in at least gaining some lores whenever Kat becomes a squire. I want her to be introduced to a couple kinds of magic and pique her interest in starting to study a few disciplines.

Also can a regular knight learn magics?

I think the only full fledged knight I know of knows flux, so yah. I think the big difference is that mage Knights primarily use magic while regular knights use primarily weapons. Magic is supposed to be pretty mysterious and not a lot of people are supposed to know about it but in the order most know that there are mage knights. I'm sure a few knights learned a bit of magic from there Mage knight comrades, I think Flux is actually pretty common.

Hey every one! I apologise for the inactivity. RL has been kicking my but. I should get more posts out in winter, and help out with the grading as soon as december rolls around.

Now on to the topic at hand, Magic:

I am actually planning on Balian to learn Morphing as a magic skill, but its been a bit of a challenge finding a good place to start since morphing isnt necessarily common in Syliras, however I do think I have found the perfect way to do it.

@Kat: I am also planning on Balian becoming a bit of an explorer, so you want company while you wander through Miz mapping the world, he would definitely be interested.

Company would always be welcome! It's always better than forging out alone. My plan is to have Kat study at the University and really hone a lot of skills there, earn a few certificates, then become a Knight and go out, adventure, and try to create some pretty extensive maps of the Sylira and Cyphrus regions as well as collect as much knowledge as possible along her travels. Maybe write a book.

Knights can travel? Like explorers and such? If that's the case, I might join you maybe, at least for a little while.
