Canadian's love cowboy boots and Flannel (I grew up in a small town in Manitoba, there was a lot of cowboy boots) ...not so much with the guns although with the Prime Minister we have now that might change >__> Friggen Harper.

PS: I like the sound of your Prime Minister. I'll have to learn more about your mysterious land other than your cool rainbow money melts in peoples' pockets, you love syrup, and your Mounties are way cool.

PSS: Just kidding, I know more than that! It's not like I looked into moving to the Northern-middle wilderness of Canada to escape humankind and this insane country.

Hello Syliras!

Welcome to Winter 514.

As always please make sure to update your Character Sheets. Remember to deduct your seasonal expenses from their ledger if you played during the Fall season. Unless a player has contacted me, it is assumed they have a lifestyle of common or higher. There are no beggars (there are buskers but they are on the Knight's payroll as entertainers and performers, they do not work for tips) in the city; everyone works and are paid wages from the knighthood. There is no excuse for a citizen who lives in Syliras or the Mithryn outpost to have a lifestyle below common. Conversely, those living in the bronze woods and in the wilds may have Poor or Squalor living expenses when it makes sense.

Squires are reminded that they need to make a note in their ledgers for the graders when they deduct zero expenses. A simple "Summer 514 (Common) | - 0 GM* Squire of the Sylirian knights", is all that is necessary. Additionally those who are playing PC knights are reminded to deduct Common living expenses despite living a Good lifestyle. Please make a note of this for the graders as well.

I would like to remind everyone that deducting living expenses applies to ALL who played in Syliras (And by extension anyone who posted anywhere on Mizahar) during the summer months. No exceptions. At least two posts count and you will be expected to pay the full amount, whether you have all your job threads started/finished or not. If you forgot, now is a good time to post up job threads (Placeholders or otherwise) for Winter, thus you won't forget when the season ends and you can work on them throughout the Winter season. That way accidents don't happen.

Finally, threads and quests not completed in Fall will be continued in Winter. I apologize to all quest participants who are waiting on me. We will continue on with all threads that I am moderating. I am also currently not taking on any new threads unless explicitly promised.

Now on to other things.

As many of you have noticed, there will be some changes coming to the city and the knighthood that I have already put onto the calendar but have not been fully developed yet. There are also some placeholder events that will be announced when they are closer to being completed. More information will be available at a later date in regards to these development changes.

on another note I would love a snow ball fight, I have pebble as a weapon in my character sheet and I'd like to get as many odd skills in my repertoire as possible.
