Hey guys, just your friendly neighborhood pycon man here. A friendly reminder to get your job threads in before end of season if you haven't done so already. Remember that as a squire your job is to train, as a knight your job is to train, patrol, etc... Knight stuff.

Summer nears and the summer heat is making the city feel as though it were in a cooking pot. Farmer Driscoll has requested aid from anyone that would be willing to help in trying to keep the crops alive. They’ve asked tailors to make linens to cover the row crops.

Alright Guys and Gals.

I'm sure you've been waiting for this post to come for awhile, some may have already guessed that it was probable. Here's what I want to say first, Don't Stop Writing.

First and foremost, you all are writers, darn tootin' good ones. Yes, I'm going to retire and take some time. I wanted/WANT to be here for you, I sincerely do, but I know that I haven't been doing that.

That's not fair to you.

I'm not going to make excuses as to why I was absent, there is no excuse. The reason is because of a few deaths in the family. It's been quite a lot to handle. I feel where I currently am is not enough to give you guys the best of me and that is why I'm choosing to take a break.

What does this mean?

Unfortunately, it does mean that Syliras will close until a new ST steps in. However, I feel this could be good news! It'll help to shake up your plots, and could be a good excuse to get your player out into the world and learn new things or explore! Use this opportunity to get to know your character, explore the depths of them and really develop them. I bet any ST would be happy to have your character join their city!

So, with a sad heart I say, not goodbye, but... see you later.

I will be around for a little while longer so if you need help finding a direction feel free to PM me.

For PCs looking to migrate from Syliras while it closes, Karyk and a caravan of PCs and NPCs will be arriving at Syliras' gates Summer 1st and from there will be splitting up. The travelers will be split between some heading to Ravok, and others heading to Riverfall. There will be a post to reflect this when summer starts. Since this is a migration, there are no caravan travel fees for this. If you'd like to join either the Ravok bound or Riverfall bound caravans, please let me know. Travel is a good setting for plenty of fun threads.
