I have more sections to the calendar coming. I'm still pretty sick so things are getting put up slowly. The Veronica schedule will be one of these sections.

I'm going to be making a list of who's working where for the OOC forum so we can give new players an idea of what employment is available.

What sort of housing do new characters receive here? The Overwater Ranch is above Common Living.

Please check the linkmap in the Codex. It also lists Bungalows that are cheaper.

Syka is a new settlement. There is very very limited housing. You are welcome to live in a tent, claim land, and build your own place as your funding allows. That is what will suit most people the best.

Gotcha, thanks. One more question: does lighting something else with something already lit count to gaining the Firestarter ability? Like, taking a torch and lighting another with it?

Hey,

Kaiu - Nope. That means starting a fire for the first time no matter what method you use.. flint and steel, a firebow, reimancy, etc.

Everyone else - Also, we are currently coming up on half the season being gone. Half the season! I haven't seen anyone posting much of anything here and its disappointing! Next season won't have well crafted plots if no one takes advantage of the ones I do create. Why? It's not worth the time and stress to do these activities as an ST if no one takes advantage and has fun with it.

Alright, thanks! I'll start thinking of a way for Kaiu to get it in a not so "20 words on starting a campfire" way.

Anyway. C'mon guys, who's around and kicking? While Kaiu isn't 100% finished and ready for threading, I can still plot until I am (ETA: a day or two until fully ready to thread). Syka is too cool to not have great events and activities.

I'm around and... flopping. My activity has been sporadic of late, but there's no way I'm not going to get Karin involved this season!

Also, I really love the seasonal calendar for Syka this Summer. Although there isn't as much time left as there was, I'll be aiming to reach 50k too. There, if I write it down here I'll feel more obligated to reach that. xD The pressure is on!
