First things first: :((

Because I've already missed so much in a week. Now that's out of the way, laptop's fixed and back to normal so I will be playing catch up in the meantime! Perp you're doing awesome with the new stuff and the crime and punishment looks great! Everyone who's got calender events open you're awesome and hopefully it isn't too late to jump in, and of course I'm excited and happy to be threading again. Finally, Telor and Aedifex I would love a thread sometime! Not sure if I've missed any others that've popped in while I was out, but I'll be poking around and likely pming people soon.

Anyways now I'm done ranting, so continue to have fun everyone!

Zeltiva,

I wish I could say that I was posting with good news but unfortunately this is not the case. I have been trying to come up with an easy way of saying this but there really isn’t an easy way. So I will just say it.

Due to real life professional reasons my retirement from the staff will be taking place at the end of April. I will not be active on my PC account either and am working to bring things on both fronts to a point where I can take my leave quietly.

During this period of time the majority of my attention will be focused on working on Zeltiva as a city. Before my departure I want to bring it to a place so that when I do retire, it can be placed in the hands of whomever my successor might be with a smooth transition. If you have moderated threads with me, they are going to be slow, ground almost to a halt with a few exceptions. For important plots, I will be leaving behind extensive plot notes for the ideas I had in mind so that if another moderator chooses to pick up where I left off, they can do so easily.

I have a lot of work to do and many aspects of the city to put together in a short period of time. I apologize for the abruptness of all of this but life has called and I must answer.

So, I will be accepting no more moderated threads. I will be tying as many things up as possible. If you were expecting a moderated thread from me and it has yet to begin I am sorry. I will work with you in such a manner as you can pursue the plot either on your own, perhaps as a Guest Storytelling thread or using a prompt to get it started.

I won’t be gone from Mizahar forever. I intend to return, whether that is in the capacity of a staff member or as just a player that remains to be seen. It’s something I’ll address when I get back and I will be back.

So to all of you, thank you for being amazing. Thank you for being inspiring players, cooperative members of this community, and fantastic people to work with.

Its sad knowing another fantastic ST for Zeltiva has to step down, everything you have done has been amazing improvements on the city, and like everyone else I will definitely miss having you to mod this wonderful domain! My best wishes to you Perp and I hope everything will work out for you, Zeltiva and Mizahar will definitely miss your presence when the time comes.
