Character Registry
Your Formal PC Name & Any Alias': Karin Ironyach, born Saeunni
Age, Sex, Race? 18, Female, Human (Svefra)
Describe your character in a short abstract? Karin is a fierce lover of the oceans and a lone spirit. Although she often comes across as stand-offish, she can be friendly if situations call for it.
How long are you planning to stay? For a long while!
What does your character have to offer Syka? A shipwright, and hopefully in the future will go some way to open up the sawmill. So far, all she has to offer is her determination.
Do you like threading about violence? Why or why not? Yes, but Karin hasn't experienced much of it in her life.
Do you like threading about sex/love/romance? Why or why not? No. Mostly because Karin isn't the romantic type.
Is your character in cult, group, etc? Is it taking members? Not unless you count the Svefra.
Do you like social threads? Why or why not? Yes. Socialisation must always have a plot though.
What does your character want to learn this season? Shipbuilding and sailing. She also wants to learn more about Syka.
Which other Syka PC would your PC really love meeting? Dust. I haven't read any of her threads but I am very interested in her planned map making threads!
Do you as a player want to see your character being able to do this season? Sailing, shipbuilding, wilderness survival and combat. I especially want her to transition to adulthood. This was my first character on Miz and in my mind is the weakest. I'm trying to make her less childish and more rounded as a character. Essentially she is still quite far from where I'd like her to be, but that's nothing but my own fault!
Why exactly as a player did you select Syka? Firstly because of the draw of newness. Now, because I love it here. Syka fits perfectly with how I want Karin to be, and has such scope to be amazing amazing.
In terms of me being a moderator, if you could have me run anything for your PC what would that be? A meeting with Laviku. Not necessarily to gain a gnosis, just to see the god and further entrench Karin's religion into her concept.

Additional Comments: The start of Spring is going to be slow for me. I have job threads I need to do, but I am totally available for planning. Just Pm me!

[Bay'Lin La]

Describe your character in a short abstract? Bay is a Charoda who practices Voiding as a meditative tool. And to meditate on nothing, means he sees the world with vacant eyes. As it really is. Dirty, short lived, but only matters in the moment.
How long are you planning to stay? Permanent.
What does your character have to offer Syka?
A constant source of food from the fresh fish he will be supplying. His ability to scavenge supplies from the sea. Likewise, voiding for sanitation & defense.
Do you like threading about violence? Why or why not?
Yes, because as a young Charoda Baylin lives in the utmost danger of the violence living with sea predators. The same goes for on land.
Do you like threading about sex/love/romance? Why or why not?
Bay has the utmost brotherly love for his sister, May. He is capable of feeling love, so romantic love is a possibility.
Is your character in cult, group, etc? Is it taking members?
Bay is a Voider, while not a cult he is capable of starting one based around it.
Do you like social threads? Why or why not?
Yes, I like them if they involve discussing important matters. Social thread are why things happen. You can't uses punching as means of conversation.
What does your character want to learn this season?
To be a proper fisherman. And construct his own vendor stall/house.
Which other Syka PC would your PC really love meeting?
All of them right now, he needs to make contacts in Syka.
Do you as a player want to see your character being able to do this season?
I want to see him build a home for himself. He's been moved around so much, that I've made his Voiding tendencies go way up. Like a earthly monk who detached himself, I want him to find the nirvana to live in Syka. Also lots more voiding.
Why exactly as a player did you select Syka?
Because it is the perfect environment for a Charoda.
In terms of me being a moderator, if you could have me run anything for your PC what would that be?
Baylin cares only about his immediate surroundings. Like a territorial shark. The rest of the world can go away. I can see him enjoying simply meeting Caiyha or simply being a beach Phylonura. Or a more simple moderated thread with him being assigned to look into underwater activities by the leaders of Syka.

Describe your character in a short abstract? Nya is a lost soul trying to find herself and a new pathway in this current life.
How long are you planning to stay? Yes, for a while.
What does your character have to offer Syka? Nya can hunt, and is learning Wilderness Survival and leather working.
Do you like threading about violence? Why or why not? I do so like writing violence. It really helps me develop characters.
Do you like threading about sex/love/romance? Why or why not? Yes, I don't mind so long as it is fitting with the scene and not a forced setup.
Is your character in cult, group, etc? Is it taking members? No, Nya is not.
Do you like social threads? Why or why not? I actually do like social threads. I try to bend them so something is learned in them as well so they can be training/social threads.
What does your character want to learn this season? Nya wants to get a leather working business started.
Which other Syka PC would your PC really love meeting? I think Nya would like to meet other Kelvics or some of the new NPCs.
Do you as a player want to see your character being able to do this season? I would enjoy being able to participate in some of the city events in a group setting.

Lost after her strider's death, Merevaika is full of anger and sorrow and wants to try and forget what she can't. How long are you planning to stay? A season, perhaps. Depends on how the story goes, but unfortunately, I can't say forever. What does your character have to offer Syka? Her hunting and animal husbandry skills. And a bit of wilderness survival. Do you like threading about violence? Why or why not? Yup, and I want to get her weapon skills up so fight me. Do you like threading about sex/love/romance? Why or why not? No, because Merevaika will actively avoid all that. Is your character in cult, group, etc? Is it taking members? She's a Drykas. That is the coolest group. Do you like social threads? Why or why not? Only if there is an actual plot/reason behind it. Especially when Merevaika's involved. What does your character want to learn this season? Improve her skills, mainly - pathfinding, hunting and wilderness survival while in Syka. Which other Syka PC would your PC really love meeting? None. In a story perspective, it is the perfect place for a Drykas to run away to be away from people and horses. And I love the whole setting up a city and having barely nothing and a jungle setting. In terms of me being a moderator, if you could have me run anything for your PC what would that be? A meeting with Dira so she could yell at her a bit and decide she really hates her. What does your character have to offer Syka? Mercenary services, this includes free monster extermination, guarding, and body guarding.

Do you like threading about violence? Why or why not? Xen is a soldier of fortune: he who fights for or against those with the right coin. So yes, it is necessary for him to thrive.

Do you like threading about sex/love/romance? Why or why not? Pfft, who would find Xen attractive? He isn't looking for love Please love him

Is your character in a cult, group, etc? Is it taking members? Nope, still waiting for Rhysol, Uldr, or Vayt to come by.

Do you like social threads? Why or why not? Those types of threads are okay. I don't mind.

What does your character want to learn this season? Secret knowledge, hopefully.

Which other Syka PC would your PC really love meeting? ಠ_ಠ The one that likes serpents and the venomous kind.

Do you as a player want to see your character being able to do this season? Competently wield magic, his weapons and survive the wilderness.
Why exactly as a player did you select Syka? I love Falyndar and its parts, including Syka.

In terms of me being a moderator, if you could have me run anything for your PC what would that be? Surprise god, velispar, or outling appearance thread. I'll probably die of happiness and excitement anyway, but I would be a happy dead man.

Additional Comments: My activity will be very slow, if not nonexistent since I'm hardly home at times. I can be found in chat occasionally when I'm given some peace and breathing room to chit-chat. But for the moment I'm focusing on my late job threads in order to get some spicy plots going.

Describe your character in a short abstract? Ines is a witch, someone gifted with Phylonura, as well as a botanist and ruin delver. Also, echolocation is pretty cool.
How long are you planning to stay? Permanently.
What does your character have to offer Syka? The knowledge that if the settlement is doing anything to harm the Maw, Ines would tell them. Also, plants and ruin exploration.
Do you like threading about violence? Why or why not? I will thread violence, although Ines is not a particularly violent person (despite her upbringing in Taloba)
Do you like threading about sex/love/romance? Why or why not? If it happens naturally, however I envision Ines as more playful and friendly than romantic.
Is your character in cult, group, etc? Is it taking members? Not in any other groups than being a witch.
Do you like social threads? Why or why not? I love social threads. They help me get into the shoes of my character.
What does your character want to learn this season? Lots of things - more wilderness survival, more botany, animal husbandry, investigation, maybe herbalism - though the season is almost over so I think most of these will happen next.

Why exactly as a player did you select Syka? I was really drawn to the cool ruins, small playerbase, and active moderation.

Young human morpher who likes to meet people, with obsession of unlocking life secrets. How long are you planning to stay? Until I'll learn everything about nature of this place. Or as long as I'll have something who's worth to stay. What does your character have to offer Syka? Another nature lover PC Do you like threading about violence? Why or why not? Any kind of conflict is part of livings nature. Do you like threading about sex/love/romance? Why or why not? No. Syltar is more blinded by ambition, rather than by feelings towards others. Is your character in cult, group, etc? Is it taking members? I worshipp Caihya, does it count? Do you like social threads? Why or why not? Of course! Meeting new people gives us new experiences. What does your character want to learn this season? I'm quite late for season, but I want to master many things, like meditation, endurance, morphing, survival. Junge is dangerous challenge, and thus greatest teacher. Which other Syka PC would your PC really love meeting? Every one of them! Do you as a player want to see your character being able to do this season? I want to learn more about fauna of Jungle, and thus as morpher, be able to contain their form. Describe your character in a short abstract? He's a Lion first and foremost. Yet, he is a very righteous person all at the same time who can be unpredictable.

What does your character have to offer Syka?He's a big Lion with some sense! Sky can do a multitude of things, but he is a novice in leatherworking. However, if you are looking for a bodyguard look no further!

Do you like threading about violence? Why or why not? Yes, as I feel it is a very large and important part of my character.

Describe your character in a short abstract? Now that the belligerent, well-traveled savage is back on familiar shores and reunited with her bondmate, there's no telling how she'll handle the reality of a new barbarian society right in Myri's backyard. Expect the unprecedented settlement to elicit a far more unpredictable, albeit cautious, Myrian resident more at home in the nearby Village of the Shining Scales than among heathens.
How long are you planning to stay? Indefinitely.
What does your character have to offer Syka? While she'd rather see Syka go up in flames, Kaie is handy with and without her sword in the realm of combat. Paired with her Kelvic Lion bondmate and you might just find a powerful ally to commission against the beasts that lurk within Falyndar's jungles.
Do you like threading about violence? Why or why not? Love it. Violence is the very essence of any Myrian, especially Kaie.
Do you like threading about sex/love/romance? Why or why not? Sure. It's one of the most challenging and yet intriguing ways to explore vulnerability and connectedness.
Is your character in cult, group, etc? Is it taking members? Technically, Myrians are a cult but unless you're one them...no.
Do you like social threads? Why or why not? Yes and no. Yes, if there's some interesting dialogue and real connection taking place. No when it's just aimless and painstaking.
What does your character want to learn this season? About Syka's history and it's people, what exactly all these strangers are doing there.
Which other Syka PC would your PC really love meeting? Merevaika, fight you? Challenge accepted.
Do you as a player want to see your character being able to do this season? I would like to see some kind of conclusion to Kaie's inner struggle about the discovery of Syka, for better or worse.
Why exactly as a player did you select Syka? All the other cities and their players are fun and interesting, but Syka poses the greatest challenge to my character yet just in its existence alone.
In terms of me being a moderator, if you could have me run anything for your PC what would that be? A second mark for Myri would be very cool, but if you're in the mood to just send my PC down a path of inexplicable torment and challenge for a mysterious end result, I'm down with that too.
