Katie isn't the only one who nerds about writing. I also try to leverage my theatrical training into the way I construct characters. One can meditate forever on exactly what emotions are -- physio-biological elements, psychological elements, spiritual elements -- but basically I'm interested in any sort of tools for picking people apart. I may never fully understand them, but new tools offer new perspectives.

For example, I am an INFP (Introverted, iNtuitive, Feeling, Perceiving) person on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Also known as the Healer or the Questor. I think Hadrian's more of a Mastermind or Architect. More here.

And Plutchik's work on emotions is interesting, too. Worth a look, anyway. More here.

It's one of my dreams in life to flip a table in a crowded restaurant and scream "YOU DON'T KNOW ME!" or "I WILL NOT CALM DOWN!" or similar, but I have been a server and know too many people who have been servers, so I'd feel bad for making someone clean up after that. Even though it would be totally fulfilling otherwise.

It'd be cool to put that on someone's CS though...

When Toli said, "You don't know me to hate me," in his first thread I totally pictured table flipping in my mind. Too bad he's too suave (he thinks) for that. And, you know, the distinct lack of tables present. Oh, for a table in Hai.
